I’ve been a Detailed Image customer for a little over a year. Although I patronize numerous venders and Web sites, DI quickly became my go-to vender for detailing products and supplies. So much so that after the first 6 months as a DI customer I’d amassed a collection of products and tools to last a long, long time. Although my orders have become less frequent they still reach out and grab me with Monthly and Daily Specials that I seem powerless to resist.
Many sell similar products, pricing is competative on many sites and expertise and training materials are available all over the place. Some have glitzier Web sites. What sets Detailed Image apart from the rest is the personal service I’ve received. On numerous occasions I’ve needed advice or info or I wanted to alter or cancel an order. My e-mails have always received super-fast, imformative replies and whatever issue I raised was handled satisfactorily and promptly. Detailed Image provides something that has become increasingly rare these days, the feeling that I am a valued and appreciated customer. The personal attention both Greg and George offer goes a long way in keeping me a repeat customer.
But the absolute BEST aspect of doing business with DI is something that no one else that I’ve done detailing supply business with offers… FEDEX GROUND SHIPPING!!!! No waiting for a brown truck that seems to take forever! I generally get my orders in two days and once after an early morning order I receive the shipment THE NEXT DAY! It just doesn’t get any better than that.

I have nothing but good words for DetailedImage.
Shipping: Is very fast, took 2 days for regular parcel. This prove that they ship your box as soon as possible!
Paying/Buying: Is well-done. I like the fact that you can have your invoice ready in PDF format. This is really great for people like me, who cross the border to canada. And you receive your confirmation and tracking number by instant email. Super!
Product: I like the brand they carry. Think about it, normally Chemical guys and Poorboy’s are never on the same site! On top, you can get Menzerna,Megiuar for good polish and Dodo Juice for great wax. Seriously, the brands they offer is great choice.
Price/Offer: Again, are competitive. Just before I was cheking out my order, I saw on the banner that they had a Microfiber promo ( a couple of different PF to try all free! approx. 15$ in value). I was happy that I found the code 2 minutes before I ordered! So, on top of the monthly special, I had the item on daily sale + a free MF towels!!

I have been a DI customer for a few months now. I made my first purchase when there was a free shipping promo for one of the holidays, so I figured that I would give it a shot. I have since made a number of additional orders, and have been pleased each and every time with the exception of one….An item was forgotten in my package, so they sent it out right away along with a bunch of freebies. So all around they have excellent customer service…George has recommended me to products that I would otherwise have no interest in.
As far as selection goes, I have yet to see anybody else house more products than DI. They truly have anything and everything that you need to keep your car, or in my case, my customers cars looking top notch. Especially now that they offer the Meguiar’s line-up. One of my favorite parts of the day is seeing whats on sale via daily specials, and the often promos and perks.
Shipping is another strong point for DI. Shipping rates are actually fair, not through the roof. And they offer a range of options. Packages always come packed nice and tight to ensure that the products are in great condition when they arrive at your door step.
Lastly, the detailing guide is a great help to me as I always refer to it for some helpful hints and information. It contains pictures and useful info that help you get the job done right, the first time.
In a nutshell, I will continue to order from DI because they offer friendly service at the right price.

I first stumbled onto DI by doing a price search for CG’s EZ Creme. When I got to the site, it was on a daily special and a few $$’s less than anyone else. Checking the rest of the site, prices were very reasonable and had a hand-picked feel to the selection.
On one order I received a ruptured bottle that leaked all over the box and was visible on the exterior of the box when I found it at my doorstep. DI replaced the product and apologized with a very fast turnaround, despite the fact it was obviously banged up from shipping.
Love the daily/monthly promos and the low shipping costs. The website also has a high tech / professional look to it that makes me prefer the shopping experience here more than others (one-click add to cart and easy navigation – awesome!)
There are a number of good sites to purchase the same items – tie me to a lie detector and I’ll still tell you it’s my favorite. Can’t beat the prices with promos / twitter coupons and the professionalism is top notch. I feel guilty taking advantage of all their promos that I usually try to buy one thing at normal price per order!

Well I was first introduced to detailing through the E46 Fanatics forum. At first I knew nothing, but plenty of people told me to read through gregs detailing guide and WOW, that is the best guide I have ever read on detailing. Although I did not understand all the concepts of detailing, I went through threads that Greg has made and he explained it all in detail and answered any questions I might have had. After I got a grip for this stuff, I decided I should start to invest some time and money into making my car look nice and detailed. Needless to say, I bought all my supplies from DI and plan to keep buying for over the next few months/years. Greg, you definitely have the best customer service ever, you have got yourself one more customer that will keep returning to you no matter what!

I found Detailed Image through a forum while researching proper detailing techniques years ago. Detailed Image carries all of my favorite brands at a competitive price with lots of specials and discounts, which I love. Also the Detailed Image website is clean and simple but, most of all it is informative and entertaining. You can come to the website and do more than just purchase products, you can read reviews, research proper techniques for detailing, read articles, enter competitions, shop special deals, and more! I actually come to the site just to see whats new occasionally. Fast shipping, good customer service, competitive prices, informative & entertaining website, best brands, and great discounts and specials those are the things that keep me coming back. Hopefully that does not change.

I first discovered Detailed Image last year, and I’ve ordered a total of three times now. I’m not a professional detailer (although I did have a little neighborhood detailing business when I was a teenager); I just like to have all the right tools to keep my own cars in absolutely pristine condition. My initial order from DI included a PC 7424 and Menzerna polishes and although I had used buffers in the past, this felt like it was my first foray into “real” polishing. I had a few questions even after doing my own research online, so I sent George a Private Message on a forum and he quickly replied with a very thorough response. Several more messages came after that, and I was so impressed with the service that I knew I would be a DI customer for life!
My orders have all been packed well and arrived on time with no issues. The products are great, the prices are fair and the service, should you need it, is outstanding. DI gets a big thumbs up from me!

Ever since I purchased my Lexus IS-F and recently started my auto detailing business, I have never stopped purchasing from Detailed Image. They have great specials everyday and not to mention exclusive discounts for forum members and subscribers. DI has a huge range of products that’ll make every inch of your vehicle shine to perfection!
Not to mention the auto detailing guide they have available. It is, by far, the most complete and thorough step by step process for every detailer out there. Be it beginner or advance.
Did I mention the fantastic customer service? Ever since I started my auto detailing business, my questions never stopped. But Greg and the team did a great job answering my questions, not to mention in a timely manner and of course, patience. I have yet to come across such great customer service.

I never gave much thought to caring for my second-largest investments until recently. I stumbled onto Detailed Image through a forum and I was amazed at the effort put toward empowering professionals and enthusiasts alike with such in-depth knowledge and insight on car care. I never knew there was so much to know about detailing, but after reading through the vast knowledge library on DI, I can truly say I’m much more educated today than I was a month ago. I was even able to talk to someone on the phone and he answered LOTS of newbie questions I had. I honestly could not believe they made themselves available like that.
The number products available through DI is absolutely mind-blowing. I could’ve bought some of the common items from retail chain stores, but after my [free] education through the resources at DI, I felt extremely grateful and decided to purchase from them. I’m so glad I did! Shipping was reasonable, as well as swift and painless. They even threw in some foam applicators and goodies!
Unfortunately, in today’s world you can’t expect for a company to have it all. When you come across one that has large product selection, competitive pricing, fast shipping, knowledgeable resources, AND EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER CARE, you have stumbled onto a gem! My first experience with DI was nothing short of exceptional and as long as you don’t change your formula, you’ll have this customer for life! Detailing is pretty much an art form now and the number of products on the market is just plain ridiculous. Anyone can sell products online, but DI truly helped this emerging detail-nut sift through them all and I have truly enjoyed the journey! I’ve been a more-than-satisfied customer for over a year now. In that time I’ve witnessed, and experienced, some outstanding customer service. The team is quick to respond to e-mails with product recommendations and general detail advice. And they listen to their customers and expand their inventory accordingly – like the recent addition of Meguiar’s. Thanks to them, my cars stay looking in top shape!

I have had nothing but great experiences here at Detailed Image. I originally came across DI on E46 Fanatics, where Greg, has been a huge source for the best detailing advice. On top of their great customer service, I can always depend on them when it comes to pricing. One stop shopping makes shopping a whole lot easier espeicially when I never have to worry about who has the best prices; I can confidently go straight to DI when I am looking for new detailing chemicals. DI always runs great sales and promotions. Their product line is always expanding making so many choices.
If I had to mention one thing for impovement, I would have to call upon shipping rates. Even though DI runs great shipping promotions. When there is no promotion, shipping adds up especially when shipping from east to west coast. This isn’t necessarily an area where DI can easily improve as shipping is never free, as someone has to pay FedEx, but, if shipping could somehow be discounted, it would help so much more. Other than the actual rates, DI shipping amazingly quick, never a delay. I can always depend on DI to reliably get my order to me when I expect it.

I found out about Detailed Image from a BMW forum and I heard good things about them. I was never really into detailing cars and I had no clue how to, other than the basic wash and dry.
What caught my eye was seeing the complete detailing article. Since I recently bought a new car, I want to be able to upkeep it and make it look as nice as possible so I started researching products and seeing what I could come up with. Eventually I started messaging Greg to give me advice for what products to use, what they do, etc and wow…what a quick and helpful response. Definitely going to be coming back here to order some more advanced detailing products after I get use to doing the basics.

I found DI a few years ago through a multiple BMW and Porsche forums – it just kept comming up. At the time, I was shopping for a Porter Cable Orbital and some polish-I have three cars- an 89 Porsche, a ’04 BMW and at the time an 00 Grand Cherokee (now an ’08 MDX)- All I wanted to do was cut down on time I was spending and get a bit of extra elbow grease to spruce my BMW that had been through the automatic washer a few too many times with a previous owner- it had alot of swirl marks … . Little did I know I was getting myself into.
Between the forums and the “how to” sections, I found myself spending countless hours reading through instructional information. videos, and discussions on product and technique. Once I had an idea of what I needed, not only did they have the best prices for product and shipping, but I found they had a complete selection allowing me to purchase everything I needed in a single stop.
Fast forward several years-..As products have evolved in the last few years so has my technique and experience. I’ve moved on to wet sanding and now use a rotary polisher. Thanks to this site and the advice and guidance from those who run it and participate in it, I’ve spent hundreds and saved thousands of dollars detailing my cars myself – For less than the price of a full detail on one of my vehicles at the local car wash, I do all three of them – two or more times a year and with left over product …I’ve found there are other places to shop, and once in a while you can save a few cents (here and there) elsewhere, but by the time all is said and done, I end up back here to buy- I’ve never had a problem with any order and regardless of how big my order is, it’s always here on or ahead of schedule.

I have been extremely impressed with the quickness and accuracy of DI’s customer service. I keep getting enticed by the daily specials and monthly specials and continue to order thing from here. Every order comes with a tracking number and is very easy to view and keep track of. Also the guys are nothing but helpful when engaged to answer questions and provide sound advice. I only ever had one problem with an order out of many, where a container came open during shipping, and I was sent a brand new replacement immediately without question. That made me very happy and I was pleased with how quick DI worked to resolve my issue. The value and the great deals will keep me shopping here for a long time to come. Keep up the the great work, and thanks for everything you do to help.

I was passed the information about DI from a few members of car forums. As I learned more and more about detailing I found that going to DI helped me even further with its excellent choice of products and easy to understand reviews/instructions.
The website is well organized, their prices are fair, and the shipping is the fastest I’ve seen from any website so far.
The services and value are the best I’ve seen for High quality detailing products.
I’ve been passing out DI’s name for a while now, and have many friends and family now visiting the website for all their detailing needs as well.
Moreover, whenever I can I always provide a direct link to products when necessary to members of car forums I go on and they too have found to enjoy using the services of DI too.

I’ve asking George about how to “restore” my leather on my 06 TL. He was the only reason why I decide to purchase products from detailed image. He was the very help in term of helping potential/current customer regarding any issues that he is capable of. I am looking forward to establish a long-term relationship with him and this website. I am going to get something (I haven’t decide on what) to do some simply cleaning/drying/wax myself. I am wondering what will George recommend this time!

After only one year, I noticed my black ’08 GTI had many visible swirl marks. After doing some quick research on the internet I learned that my own poor washing and detailing technique had caused all those imperfections. My next step was trying to educate myself about proper detailing methods and so finding the Detailed Image website was like striking pure gold. On one website were the best how-to articles I’ve ever read, along with a complete lineup of the most highly regarded products.
As a former retail manager, I also have to give a tip of the hat to Detailed Image’s constant barrage of specials and sales. There really is a science to compelling customers to make a buying decision and the time limited promotion is classic and effective. It can encourage the shopper to add unfamiliar items to the cart, increasing the average check-out and exposing the customer to a novel item which may become a new favorite.

I have been using Detailed Image for all my personal detail products for about 6 months. Detailed Image has the fastest shipping and most careful packaging I have seen from a company. I have purchased many things from here and I have never been dissapointed, they really know how to pick good products to sell, not to mention that they sell products that are sometimes hard to find, like dodo juice wax which happens to be my wax of choice. Detailed Image is all the way across the country but I use them for all my detailing needs. There are closer online retailers and stores but only at Detailed Image do I get personal assistance, honest assessments on products, and great selection. I really appreciate the help they’ve provided in selecting the right products for my car and making sure the orders go out quickly. Definitely will continue doing business with Detailed Image in the future.

Having come across Detailed Image while surfing the internet sometime back I noticed that they carried a fairly wide range of quality products. Considering I hadn’t used any of the items or brands, I was skeptical at first but was curious and open-minded being an automotive detail fanatic!
After contacting Detailed Image, I was quickly put at ease by the level of knowledge and willingness to answer my questions thoroughly. I ordered some Supernatural wax and was very happy with the product and the recommendation. What I like most is that I had a few other products that I inquired about and the answers were honest and sincere….in other words, these guys weren’t trying to just sell me something…they were interested in a happy customer.
Since then, I have asked questions and received quick, detailed answers. Clearly Detailed Image has their act together and that is something that is missed today, in my opinion, with an abundance of options online. I want somebody who has used these products to be able to tell me about them and what they will or won’t do for me. Needless to say, I have been returning to Detailed Image repeatedly since and have not yet been disappointed.
