Product Description
The Chemical Guys Quantum Buffing Pad Blue allows you to easily apply your favorite finishing polish, AIO, glaze, sealant, or wax. While cutting and polishing pads are designed to restore gloss and shine, the Blue pad is a finishing pad that has no cutting power. This versatile pad is far more gentle and can be used to apply protection or a very fine polish. Therefore it's great to pair with an AIO, surface cleaners and very light polishes if you want to "jewel" the paint creating an exquisite finish. The other option is to apply a product providing protection like liquid waxes, sealants, etc. This pad works safely, easily and incredibly fast. If you need to perform any polishing or compounding before applying protection, check out the other pads in the Quantum line listed below.Chemical Guys Quantum Hex-Logic Buffing Pads feature a high quality foam that allows you to smoothly transfer power from the machine to the paint, while minimizing heat, wear, tear and user fatigue. The secret is in the hex logic grooves and center hole. The hottest part of the pad during use is generally the center, meaning if you remove the foam from that area, you will allow the pad to breathe and thus become cooler. Combine that with the hex grooves, which help disperse heat from the face of the polishing pad, and you greatly reduce heat buildup during use. Less heat means better polishing results and less polishing pads prematurely failing! The Race Face tapered profile increases pad surface area and stability, which helps reduce wear and tear while polishing. Add in the breathable hook and loop backing, which is designed to help reduce heat, while securely fitting onto your backing plate, and you have yourself an incredibly high quality and effective pad design!

These pads though soft but still have a small bit of bite to them.
Dependable for delivering consistent, high-gloss finishing. But this pad is also capable of removing light paint defects.
I've used this foam for years with Meguiar's Ultimate Polish, M09, M205, Menzerna PF2500, SF4000, and 3D One.
A dependable, consistent, resilient pad for general purpose polishing.
I replaced the white with this pad.
