Chemical Guys Leather Scent Air Freshener Reviews

Has a leather-like smell. Doesn't last that long, maybe a day or two. That may be good in case you find it too strong.

Works great not over powering or artificial scent - wakes up the interior after a good cleaning. I use a small piece of card stock to absorb several sprays and place under the floor mat or seat for a lasting effect.

Definitely going to buy it again, it is pretty strong so it doesn't require a lot. I sprayed my car and 2 weeks later someone got into my car and said: "it smells like new in here". Thumbs up.

I did a lot of research on leather scents to find something good before I made a purchase. Unfortunately, scent is like art.. it's in the nose (eye) of the beholder. The general consensus is that something that smells dead-on accurate to one person may smell like chemical junk to another. I narrowed my choices down to several brands that seemed to get good reviews most of the time. Chemical guys was one of my choices, but I was disappointed. The scent has a slight fake smell to me and doesn't last long at all. I compared this to another well-known brand that gets good reviews and the other brand smelled closer to the real thing and lasted longer. I will not be buying again.

Decent product, not too bad of a smell. The overall scent is basically leather, but not that of new car leather.

Not impressed with this scent. It doesn't last more than 1 day and it's not that pleasant smelling. It doesn't smell bad but it could be better. I'm gonna find something better...

I purchased this sent based on the bulk of reviews. So far, I've not encountered the same fine results as many others. I tried lightly spraying under the front seats. Couldn't smell anything. I have continued increasing the amount of the spay until I was able to pick up the scent. The scent I finally received was far from quality leather, auto or any other. It was more like wet leather shoes after being thoroughly saturated. Fortunately the scent didn't remain around long. Now, off on a hunt for another leather scent that will provide a more pleasing scent.

This product is very good, nice smell

This product smells like a fine leather furniture store rather than car leather. It is a little pungent for my tastes but on cars that have lost that fresh leather scent it does well to overcome the odors and leave the illusion of having new leather installed.

Initially the smell was a bit overpowering (I probably sprayed too much the first time) but if used in small amounts it smells like genuine leather. I am impressed with the product.

Very impressed with the leather scent. If you use more than a couple of sprays it is overpowering. I spray it under my front seats on the carpet. So glad I ordered it.

I use many products from the Chemical Guys arsenal. I have used the green apple scent before on my cars, which has led to many mixed reviews of passengers/family. This scent is great, loved by all including myself, will only use this scent in the future. Last for a long time, not to intense. Recommend not spraying it directly on floor matts. find a less traveled area for longer lasting results.

Authentic smell of leather, starts up strong but quickly goes to a subtle scent that is not overpowering.

The leather scent was more of a stale leather smell, not a fresh / rich warm smell. The odor itself was a bit sharp and "bitter". Luckily I only sprayed it on the rear floor mats. They were removed and shampooed to remove the scent.

I sprayed this into my car as soon as I got it. The smell wasn't too strong and it really does smell like leather. It was pretty close to smelling like the new car leather smell, but it didn't last too long. This was probably cause I drive with my windows down.
