Product Description

The Clay Magic Headlight Kit contains everything you need to bring faded headlights back to life! After dirt, grime and harmful UV rays hit our headlights, our nice and clear headlights can start to fade and yellow. Not only does this look ugly, it greatly affects driving safety due to poor headlight visibility. This is where the Headlight Kit comes into play! Before starting, prep the surface by taping off the headlights and ensuring they are clean and free of contamination. Using the included sandpaper sheets, mist the surface with water and sand with the 600 grit paper. This may take a few passes, but using a cross hatching pattern glide the paper across the headlight. Once finished, follow up with the 1500 grit paper to improve clarity and with a clean microfiber towel. The lights will still look a little hazy but don't worry the last step will make a huge impact. Using the supplied sponge and sealant, apply the protective layer to the headlight to further clarify and protect the lights and their finish. Step back and be amazed at the results and how amazing the lights look. Each single kit includes all materials and supplies to restore 1 car (2 headlights). No special tools are required!

Auto Magic's Headlight Restoration System works quickly to remove light to medium scratches, discoloration, dirt and grime from vehicle headlight lenses, leaving them with a like-new appearance. This versatile product can be used on plastic, Plexiglass, acrylic and boat windshields. This system will restore faded and yellowed headlights to a like new appearance. Restores faded and yellowed headlights to factory appearance and has an easy application with short prep time. Auto Magic's Wipe-On Sealant is UV curable and provides maximum protection for long-lasting clarity.

Directions

PREP: Tape surrounding areas of the headlight to prevent damage from sanding. Put on the provided gloves and start the sanding process with 600 grit wet sandpaper until the oxidized surface layer is removed. Clean with a cloth and sand the surface again with 1500 grit wet sandpaper until the surface of the plastic substrate is smooth. Wipe the headlight thoroughly with lens dryer and clean with lint-free towel to make sure it is dry.

APPLY: Pour the sealant into the provided tray and then dip sponge included in the kit. When applying the sealant use a 50/50 overlap with even strokes from the side to side (Avoid applying the sealant under direct sunlight). Wait one minute for the sealant to level and flatten. Remove tape and wipe excess sealant from the surrounding areas using lens dryer.

CURE: Pull the vehicle into sunlight or use UV-LED light to cure. Allow 3-5 minutes for complete cure. Remove tape and wipe excess product from surrounding areas with Auto Magic's Lens Dryer.
