This is advertised as a grill brush. The bristles are very coarse (think a straw broom). I have not tried it on a painted grille, nor do I think I will. Maybe I'm missing the point here, and it's meant for cooking grills. But on a vehicle, I am just not confident this is the correct brush to safely clean with.

Works well but man, does it smell awful! I'm not sure if it's the bristle material or what. Thought maybe it'd get better after exposure to some APC and water for a few washed but no such luck.

It seems like a nice brush. I bought on sale for a great price. I'm trying to find its place in my routine since I have many brushes for just about everything.
