Product Description
The Gtechniq T2 Tyre Dressing is a thick dressing that leaves an unbelievably rich and glossy shine on your tires. Grey, brown or worn tires can really take away from the look of your overall vehicle. With T2, you can take care of that with an easy to use formula! To apply, make sure the tire is clean and dry and squeeze T2 onto a foam applicator. Spread the dressing evenly onto the tire and remove any excess product with a separate clean cloth. For any additional gloss, wait 10 minutes and apply another coat. Do not use on motorcycle or bicycle tires. After application, you will be left with a deep, dark glossy tire that does not sling and helps avoid future dirt and grime buildup. If you want a deep, dark, glossy look on your tires that really lasts, the Gtechniq T2 Tyre Dressing is an awesome product to add to your detailing arsenal!Videos

I am a fan of T2. It provides a natural shine with one application, add a second application if you want more gloss. T2 seems to last longer than most of the cheaper tire shines, there is zero sling, and it has properties to repel dirt. Where does T2 stack up to T1? The main advantage of T2 is it is easier to apply and get an even coating than T1. T2 is something you should apply though every time you wash your car though as T1 is meant to be a more durable/longer lasting tire dressing. Can't go wrong with either though, just depends what you want more. I did not buy my T2 from DI as they have only recently brought it to their web page, go forward I have no problems saving on shipping and buying the next round from DI.
I was not impressed at all by this product. The finish is very dull and does not last very long. I thought I would give this a try as I like the other GTechniq products however I have had much better luck with meguiars tire gel.
I took off both fronts, cleaned the rubber and dried with shop towels and applied the Gtechniq T2 with the tires face up on the floor, allowed it to dry and then applied another coat, but was not very impressed! I also applied it to the rears as the car was on stands, and had the same result. I mean it looks like a clean black but not at all glossy. All four tires are brand new too, not sure if that may be a factor.
