I am a DIYer, but definitely can tell a difference between ScanGrip and other bargain inspection lights. The build quality is great, feels much more robust. I was hesitant on the price but grabbed it on sale and definitely worth it. As a newbie to paint correction, I found it difficult to see some imperfections in white paint, but having the two color temperatures did help, so I think this is a great feature if using on different color vehicles. Brightness is sufficient for inspecting small areas.

It's good. I like the small size and the magnet at the base. It will stick to certain panels on the car without scratching and also certain pipes.

As many other reviewers have stated, the product is extremely well made. It feels very solid in your hand. Easy to use. Works better than other lights that I have used before (black painted car). Magnet is strong and yet design will not scratch car. Yes it is more expensive than others but if you hold out for a sale and pick one up then, it's worth the cost. Haven't had it long enough to speak about longevity.

Great light for detailing dark areas, ie wheel wells, engine bay, interiors, etc. Oh yeah, great for viewing polishing results.

The best light to have for paint correction

Hard to see defects in light paint....time will tell how successful I was with the last detail. Seems to work well on dark colored vehicles
