I previously had the big red sponge and loved it. This one is even better. The ergonomics are better and it just feels more streamlined and less bulky. I use it with rinseless and it's just a step above the big red sponge in every way. It's softer, easier to use, gets in places the big red sponge doesn't, etc. I'd recommend to anyone because it's supposed to work with soap as well.
It's reached my expectations
Luxurious wash experience with regular shampoo or ONR. Rinses out dirt pretty easily. Thick foam allows you to glide across the surface smoothly without much pressure. I might be getting old, but it requires much lower grip strength than a mitt / towel, so it adds to the ease of use.
It's thick so it doesn't play well with tight spots like spoilers, door handles, hex grilles, mirrors, etc. You'll still need a mitt or towel for those spots.
