I washed my car, used blacklight and then topped off with Lava. The car was already pretty shiny with the blacklight but the lava gave it a nice protective layer. You feel it has a nice shell on it after use. I plan to put another layer on top. Use very little. Its not hard to get off, but its not the easiest either. Out of 10(being hard to remove), I'd give it 4-5. The black light gets about a 2 in my book. The smell is very nice, gives it an added clean feel. Just make sure you have good ventilation.

I've tried this on silver,light green metallic and candy apple red and although it really shines it doesn't compare to Blacklight for clarity especially when you consider price.Make sure you use a foam applicator as the microfiber pad seems to soak in the soft wax or use as stated above a red/black da foam pad.I like Lava but would only buy again if it was on sale as this is the first CG product that didnt wow me on the first use.

I apply this with a crimson pad on a PC. It is easiest to apply it this way, but by hand is easy enough as well. Needs ample cure time (I leave on 30-60) minutes, but CG's say 20. Easy to remove. Biggest reason I bought this was high temps it can withstand (300F).

I applied this after a maintenance wash on my Crystal Black Pearl Civic Si. It smells amazing. My recommendations are do not use this product in the sun and use a very small amount since it is close to a liquid wax. If you use too much product you're going to be left with a lot of buffing to do. Make sure the layers are thin and you leave ample time for the product to dry. Overall, I will be using this stuff for a while. I'll just be sure to use less!

The first thing you will notice about LAVA is the fantastic smell coming out of the jar. Its unlike anything I've ever seen as far as consistency for a wax product. Its like something you would use on your face and not a car. Its extremely easy to use and after letting it set for 30 minutes, removal was just as easy. I used it on a silver metallic paint to test it on a lighter paint and the results were outstanding! I highly recommend it.
