Great product! This is my go to polish for everything from exhaust tips to license plate frames. It easily removes oxidation and leaves a gorgeous finish. It is easy to apply and effortless to remove. Everyone needs to have this in their collection.

After trying multiple other cleaners/polishes with not-so spectacular results, I decided to give CG a try. I use other products by them, and they are fantastic. This was easy to apply, and remove. It's a more solid but easy to spread substance. It worked wonders on some aluminum rims I picked up that were quite oxidized. I also used it on my chrome rockers and bumpers. The directions are correct, if side metal is to be polished, go up and down, and if on top, go side to side. FOLLOW!!! Great stuff, found a winner! Tossed the rest of my old stuff.

After buying a set billet wheels for my car, I did a lot of reading on what to use to polish them and most people use that Mom's stuff which I never really cared for. On one forum, someone recommended CG Metal Polish and one other brand as the best out there. Well, after using this on several different types of metals, I'm blown away with this stuff. It literally melts oxidization off with half the work of pastes and creams I've used before. I now have three friends using it after they tried mine - and they're getting it from Detailed Image.

A great product. The consistency is somewhere between a liquid and a paste, which makes application easy. I had great success using a small foam painting brush to apply the cleaner - it gave me a high degree of control and prevented contaminating my waxed surfaces. Buff with a microfiber cloth and you're good to go.

Hands down the best polish for any aluminum. Nothing else comes close or makes it's way into our shop.

I used this to detail my dad's Harley. It REALLY cleaned up the chrome and aluminum, even after sitting in a dusty garage and a few rides the chrome still has amazing reflection and a great shine.

not sure if there is difference but i ordered this polish and got medium duty not fine like we are buying? did i get wrong polish for my chrome?

I consider myself a metal connoisseur. I own and have polished a lot of it, and this is one category where I can say products are either good or they suck. CG MetalWax passed my test for a number of reasons. First off, the liquid consistency versus a paste is bliss. You’re able to much easier get into nooks and crannies on intricate details. The setup time is awesome as well. I can let it sit, or buff off after apply almost immediately after. The product doesn’t spread while buffing off nearly as much as others I’ve tried in the past, and made removing much easier. The protection is evident as the rain that hit the bike the next day beaded water like crazy. Two months later and another rain storm, they are still looking great and repelling water.

I got this to clean up the exhaust tips and did they turn out awesome. Customer was blown away at how the chrome look came back. Told me that the last time he's seen his chrome pipes look that shiny was when he had purchased the car new.
