Chemical Guys has been asked to create a premium formula to prep your paint so you can get the maximum durability from your sealant or wax and thus they created Vertua-bond 408. It helps clean the surface removing oxidation, surface contaminants, oils and more. This helps ensure a clean surface for more optical clarity in the clear coat. Many polishes have oils in them that help the polish spread easier, but these oils can remain on the surface after the removal process. The oils can also hide remaining imperfections and prevent your protection (sealant or wax) from bonding to the paint. By removing these oils you can expect to get more durability out of your sealant and wax. It also acts as a bonding agent to help you get the absolute most out of your next coat of protection. Sealants and waxes seem to react really well to this surface prepping formula and last noticeably longer. You can apply it by hand or with a buffer usually with a Black Finishing Pad. Vertua-bond 408 can be used after the washing, clay bar or polishing and before applying a sealant or wax. Directions
Always apply to clean surface. Can be sponged on. When applied with a clean towel VRP will break down surface with product then lightly remove and excess with clean terry towel. For maximum shine apply a secondary layer and after a few minutes buff of excess to a perfect shine with a microfiber towel.

Very easy to use. Also, makes applying the wax very easy. I cant comment on this compared to comp products but I can say it is fantastic!

absolutley one of the best bonding/polishes i've found.....gives very soft glow to the edges and is easy to apply....gives the paint a very clean and workable surface....removes small surface scratches if applied with a pc.....this mis definatley a must ford paint prep before applying a sealer or a wax
