Package Description

The Foamaster II Advanced Kit gives you everything you need to safely wash and dry your vehicle. We have hand selected each product in this kit so you get maximum performance while completing a fast and efficient washing and drying process.

Before the washing process we recommend you pre-treat the exterior with the Chemical Guys Bug Bugger. This light degreaser is meant to help separate bugs, road grime, fresh tar, etc. from the exterior before washing. Simply spray the areas down and then agitate them with the Blue Grout Sponge. Pre-treating these areas helps make the washing process go a lot smoother.

Before washing connect the High Flow Shut Off Valve to the end of your hose. This device helps ensure you get maximum pressure from your hose. It also gives you the ability to turn the pressure on and off without running back to the main on/off valve. Simply screw on the Gilmour Foamaster II now and pour in your favorite shampoo. We have supplied you with two shampoos that will help you with two different kinds of washings. The Chemical Guys Maxi Suds II is a pH balanced shampoo that will not strip off the wax or sealant. It has tons of suds and great lubricity! The Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Clear is a shampoo designed to safely remove the old layers of sealant and wax. This shampoo is perfect to use before a full detail or if you want to put down some fresh protection on the bare paint. Both shampoos will work great with the Gilmour Foamaster II and with traditional washings with two buckets.

Now pour some of the shampoo in the Foamaster II reservoir and spray the paint down with a foamy lather of shampoo. Take your Blue Grout Sponge or Sheepskin Wash Mitt and begin washing the vehicle. After you have washed 1 - 2 panels dip the mitt or sponge in the rinse bucket which should have the Grit Guard in the bottom of it. Wiping your mitt or sponge on the Grit Guard will help release contaminants on the face of the washing tool so you can continue to wash safely. You can rinse the paint down by simply just adjusting the dial to the rinse mode so you get just water coming out. After you have washed the entire vehicle and thoroughly rinsed it off you can pull it into a shaded area for drying.

Using your Microfiber Waffle Weave Drying Towel(s) to blot dry the exterior. This is the process by which you place the towel down on the vehicle and let it absorb the water, then pick it up and move it to a new area repeating this process until it's totally dry. By not dragging the towel you help reduce the risk of grinding in any contaminants that could be left on the surface or in the towel. These towels are highly absorbent and our preferred tool for safely drying the paint.
