Washing & Drying
Washing and Drying is a critical step to the detailing process where you want to safely remove as much surface contamination as possible. It’s very important to remove all of the road grime, tar, sap, paint overspray, acid rain, watermarks, dirt, dust, etc. Removing these contaminates is critical to maximize all future steps in the detailing process. Often time’s swirls and micro scratches are added during the wash and dry phase, so make sure you use the right products and proper techniques to minimize the risk of adding scratches. A safe and thorough washing and drying process should have a good pre-wash treatment (degreaser), automotive shampoo, two or more wash mitts, two buckets, Grit Guard, microfiber drying towels and a water supply.
