The best pre-wash on the market! Does a fantastic job breaking down road film, bugs, and other contaminants. While I don't believe there is any substitute for contact wash, this will knock down most surface material making follow up contact wash safe and quick. While it is high pH, it is also safe for most surfaces and regular use. I use around every other wash or when heavily soiled with no degradation of my ceramic coating performance in over a year.

Some people might be reluctant because of the PIR calculation, but I actually prefer this method. Since foam cannons vary wildly in dilution, you often never really know what manufacturer recommended dilutions on the panel are making it a lot of guesswork. The calculation isn't that hard and there are online calculators for PIR that make it as easy as filling up your foam cannon with water and spraying into a bucket until it is empty then weighing the total water. You only have to do this once if you don't change your pressure washer setup or foam cannon. I typically use a PIR of 1% for more routine use and this works very well. May go up to 2% for heavily soiled car.

I bought this from another seller before Detailed Image carried it. It's a great product. I wouldn't use it for a very lightly soiled car, but it's great for winter washes when you want to remove a lot of salt and film before your contact wash. I use an IK foamer, and you use about 5 oz. per gallon of water, so 5L will last a long time. It's not really talked about, but it does a great job on tires, you could use it in an IK sprayer for tires instead of a dedicated tire cleaner.

Nothing compares in prewash. Frostbite, primus, GSF/APC, and anything else I have tried for a prewash. This stuff eats bugs and other organic items like a dedicated bug remover or strong APC. Dirt and grime actually wash off when rinsing this off and the contact wash is only a layer of traffic film.I apply with IK pro 12 to not blow through product with foam cannon. This product is so good I would not waste money and just buy the 5L and put this in your wash process.

I'm a "beginner" at this but did some reading to be able to take care of my new Miata. I can't compare it to other products but it worked great. I used it at 2% PIR and it got almost all the dirt off the car. Followed it up with a foam shampoo and my mitt got barely dirty. I used the 2 bucket method but it would seem like that was completely unnecessary.

First time using a foam cannon and bilt hamber, wasn't sure what to expect. I have a black truck i like to keep clean but im tired of hand washing. Im very impressed on how much this cleaned my truck without any hand contact other then towel drying. Didn't leave any water spots either in areas I couldn't reach with the towel. I know this is more of a prewash solution, but for me, im fine with the results as is. I also got some ONR i plan on using after the hamber on days I have time, but this is great to have in between full details.
