Chemical Guys JetSeal Sealant Product Reviews
Professional Detailer Reviews
The Jet Seal 109 was so easy, I was amazed, no streaking, no heavy buffing, just wipe and flip the towel, move on. Something this easy must have durability concerns, right? Well it's 6 months of Utah winters, tons of calcium salts, sodium salts, and home-brew of grit all over the roads, and while the "perkyness" of the beading has diminished, it's still beading and water runs off pretty easy to this day.

This is definitely indeed one very slick, very high gloss effects looking and very slippery paint protectant sealant indeed and I was impressed by actually how slippery the high gloss finish is in direct compared to ordinary conventional car waxes.
It turns out that the main primary ingredient the beautiful layer of high concentration of quality carnauba wax is used for the majority of its top gloss paint protectant layer; along with some kind of active ingredient mixture apparently containing a dimethylpolysiloxane chemistry based high gloss effect ingredients that is fairly common in vehicle compounding polishes like Meguir's for example and also the other high gloss effects ingredients called polyethylene glycol;
that is actually used to enhance and amplify the protective paint sealant high color gloss effects along with the addition of some teflon ingredient to help keep things super slippery, while also definitely enhances the color depth and color warmth of this very effective and long lasting high gloss coating effects paint sealant indeed;
which makes it a very good and long lasting paint protectant winning combination indeed on just about any decently surface prepared vehicle finish; this is definitely one of the better vehicle paint protectant sealants in the actual mainstream market today that truly lasts as long as advertised; very good bang for the dollar in the paint sealant performance mainstream market that should be considered as a invaluable addition to ones vehicle detailing arsenal today.

Old school Sealant.. still works fine. Thicker than I remember. Not something I would leave on my paint for a long time, unless you quick detail it off. Honestly, just as good as the rest of them...
Jetseal is the first sealant I've tried, so I can't really comment on how good it is compared to other products. I used it in combination with Meguiar's Ultimate Paste Wax, and it had excellent water beading/sheeting properties. I also noted that contaminates like bird-bombs, bugs, and road gunk were much easier to remove with a QD wipe or during my weekly wash. It's as easy to apply and buff off as a paste wax if you don't glob it on, and there are no clarity/discoloration issues when applied to windows, headlights, and trim-overwipe. I'm hoping it does what it says on the label this winter, since I live in the north where they heavily salt and sand the roads.
Hands down the best and easiest product on the market. Works on everything glass metal chrome plastic. No white residue and still a brilliant shine. I bought this a few years back and have tried others. I'd love to hear of a better product. I can't find it. Pound per pound the best product I've tried. I'm just the weekend enthusiast, but I love using this product. I have a Black Jag F-Pace. and this makes the Car PoP! I use the Hybrid 7 after and it gives a beautiful wet look. Just Buy This and Use it Once. you won't believe how easy it is to use and the Results

Have Nissan in Jet Black and use JetSeal as base sealant (over one coat of Blacklight). I "clay" the paint once a year with P21S Paint Cleanser which acts same as clay. Then Blacklight, then two coats of JetSeal 8 to 12 hours apart (early morning and again at night), then wait 24 hours to add wax. Maintained alternating with Collinite 915 carnauba wax with sealant, and Optimum Opti-Seal which plays nice with waxes containing sealant. Opti-Seal has the advantage of not "yellowing/dulling" the paint no matter how often you apply. Opti-Seal also helps drying - this is a life-saver in the winter if you don't have a heated garage - I use Wolfgang Uber Waterless Wash without excessive wiping, then use Opti-Seal to finish drying and add protection. I never have water spots, and bird bombs and tar wipe right off with Uber. Optimum Spary Wax for added protection during winter (it also drys nicely on damp surfaces) and Pinnacle Spray Wax for added pop weather permitting.

Used Chemical Guys Jet seal on a brand new 2016 Toyota Sienna (two coats applied by hand), it applied very well, a little and I mean a little to remove. I consider it easy on and easy but worth mentioning depending on someones expectations on removal.
After the two coats dried for 24 hours I applied 2 coats of Chemical Guys Butter Wet Wet Wax as a top coat. It goes on like no other wax I have used "literally like butter". Easy on and easy off as a top coat. It lit up the Tahoe next to it like a mirror. So far so good, now we will see the durability throughout the harsh Maine winters. (THE REAL TEST) in my opinion. I also have a Tahoe and Sierra I am going to try it on for the winter and see how it performs.

Does not last long, only a couple of days. Do not recommend.
Great product that lasts up to and even over a year on some cars i've applied it to. All in the prep work. Easy on and off.

Have found nothing better
Jetseal is like a shrink wrap with no wrinkles around your car. It goes on incredibly easy and wipes off even easier. When it's fully cured, it beads water second to none. It looks so new you kind of "puff up" like you did when it WAS new. Your pride rises a little...and you're no longer afraid to call her yours. Bugs, smog, particulate matter, and dust just slide off with water...It feels so slick. It withstands all the harsh Midwestern Winters repelling snow, salt and sand. A little spray...and you're proud of her again. Jetseal is a great sealant that seals the good in...and the bad out. Isn't that what we want?!

Use this when I want somewhat better protection than the Blacklight. Usually put it on my cars before winter. Goes on super easy and beads water like crazy even after one coat. Awesome stuff.

Easy on easy off. Product left my car looking brilliant.
Great product I have used it several times with great results. Works on glass paint and chrome
Great product. 5 stars
So far so good, used this sealant over the cream glaze then 50/50 paste wax, wow white pearl looks SWEET. I have used many products similar so we'll see how it compares.
Very easy on & off.
Very easy on & off.
Easy to use, and after about a month the paint is still slick. Proper preparation is absolutely key to maximize the benefits. Overall I'm pretty pleased.
This stuff is the BOMB! Used it on a Black S80 Volvo. Easy on easy off. !! Terrific Wet Mirror finish. Even the wife was surprised. love the new formula. Professional shine. There might be something better out there( I don't know. how much better it could be ) But I'm pleased with this for sure.
I love this stuff! This I used with a nice applicator pad. Put it on my car in a nice thin coat. I hardly used any of my bottle. Waited about 25 mins for it to bond to the surface. It left a really nice shine behind. I may also add that this was VERY easy to apply and one of the easiest I've ever seen to remove. Not a lot of residue behind. It was seemless on how this stuff went on then came off. I LOVE how versitle this stuff is. You can use it on your windows so it can bead water right off. I put this stuff on my aftermarket exhaust system. After a week it was on, my car was due for its next wash. My exhaust still was shiney after some rain we had. I'm not saying your car will never get dirty but whatever dirt does get on your car, it's a easy wash right off. I am def. in love with this stuff. I'm very glad I bought it. It's a little pricey but I can see why it's expensive. It does a great job. You get what you pay for. If you want your car looking top-notch, go with this stuff. Add a coat of wax on top of it after it has cured to make your car stand out! I wish I can show pictures of my car on here after using this stuff. You'd be sold. Just try it out, use it all over your car (rims, exhaust, windshield, windows and of course your car). Wait until your next car wash and watch how easy dirt comes right off.
I read a article online about a guy trying quite a few sealants on his RV. He well documented what sealant was where on the RV. This was one of sealants that was tested. 5-6 months later, after a harsh winter, he updated his blog and there was only 3-4 sealants left still protecting his RV out of the 15-20 that he used. This was one of the few that still was lasting. As for durability, it's great. Like I said, you get what you pay for. Go with this stuff. You'll be happy.

Jetseal 109 is the best sealant I have ever had the pleasure to use! It works EVERYWHERE! It lasts for about 6 months. It also makes the paint pop just a bit, easy on, wait 20 minutes, easy off.
Extremely easy to apply and remove even after waiting a LONG time to remove. It gives a good level of shine too. I'm a little partial to paste waxes though. I find them easier to apply then products from a bottle. -- grab bottle, shake shake squirt on applicator, spread on paint. As opposed to wiping applicator in container and spreading on paint. But i'm just nitpicking.. --Honestly it's great product.
I love it! It is one of the best sealants that I used. It works great on black cars!!!!
Yes I certainly have bought it twice.
I have 9 vehicles, A couple have older paint, Way passed anymore buffing.. Easy to apply, (I recommend using orbital buffer for nice even application) wipes off nicely and holds a shine for a long while.

I have never used a sealant before and I was not sure what to expect. After using Jetseal 109, I'm going to rely on this as my go-to product in my arsenal. I think it leaves an incredible shine on Mercedes Storm Red metallic paint. I should have followed it up with a wax but didn't. I will do 2 coats of Jetseal 109 and follow-up with a Menzerna Color Lock liquid wax in 6 months.

I'm a big fan of Blackfire Wet Diamond, but to my eye, JetSeal creates more depth of shine. Mind you, this is my subjective opinion.
I used JetSeal on my large Honda outboard engines (on my boat)back in July. As of October 22nd the shine was still going strong, even after prolonged exposure to the elements. So, depth of shine and durability have made JetSeal my go-to sealant. Easy to work with, great value.

Mixed feelings about this product. It is easy to apply and remove, especially if you follow the advice to use a thin layer. And, it does produce a deep, glossy, slick finish. I just didn't find that it offers as much protection as others have found. In fairness, I think the product is a good one, but I think Menzerna power lock is better.
This is the longest lasting sealant I've used, and has a deep wet look. It make my washing and drying much easier offering protection the my vehicle.
Being a big fan of Chemical Guys products, I knew that this had to be a great product. I've used Menzerna Power Lock for a long time, but I feel that JetSeal 109 does a great job. I'm curious to see how it holds up during the winter months on my client's cars and I can't wait for spring to see how it holds up. Excellent Sealant for odd and end parts of the car such as the underside of hoods, door panels, carbon fiber seats and other parts that need protection.
I was a little hesitant to purchase, thinking that it may not be worth as much as it costs. My worries were totally unfounded though - this stuff is amazing! I've probably put on about 8 coats so far between three cars, and maybe used a third of the bottle? So far I was most impressed when I put two coats of jetseal on my silver bmw and topped it with two coats of Dodo Juice Light Fantastic. Whoa! I kept that on from march to october, and it was still beading strong and actually put up a great fight by the time I went to take it off! Plus the combination looked, well, fantastic!
Great sealant.

i have to concur with all the positive reviews, this is the best sealant i have ever used. unparalleled, hands down, game over. i prefer this over wet diamond as well as it does not require a lengthy cure time and provides impressive durability over 4-5 months. if you don't have this yet, i suggest you pick up a 16oz, i only buy in bulk now!
I have used Jet-Seal many times. I will continue to use it. It's long lasting, great
wet look, and above all, a short cure time. Which makes for a great time saver.Cost
more than other sealants, but if time is important, this is what you want.

I just finished using Chemical Guys Jetseal 109 on my black sapphire BMW. I used this product after the P40-Polish and the EZ-Creme Glaze and before Pete's 53. My car has never looked so good. Jetseal was very easy to apply with a PC and a black finishing pad.
Use this after Chemical Guys Extreme EZ-Creme Glaze with Acrylic Shine II and you'll stare at your finish all day long. My finish is smooth as glass one month and four car washes later. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

WOW!
Very satisfied with this product. It last longer and looks slightly better than others I've used. I have power washed my car several times purposely trying to remove this sealer. Its tough and still looks great. I apply it with a blue Lake Country Pad with an orbital on the lowest (slowest) setting and buff off with microfiber.
Easy to apply and remove. Nice wet look. Durability is yet to be seen.
Awesome protectant. I just applied it so we will see how long it lasts. In my opinion it doesnt have as good of a look as FMJ, but it is supposed to last twice as long. FMJ is also easier to apply in my opinion. I plan on using JetSeal for winter protection and FMJ for the summer.
This came HIGHLY recommended from Greg and I see why. This was such an easy product to apply and remove. While it may not enhance the gloss, it does a good job protecting. And since you use so little at a time, this product will last for years. This one is a no brainer.

Easy on, easy off, quick bonding. My first time using a sealant and I was impressed by how slippery the finish is compared to waxes. A layer of carnauba over the top enhanced the depth and warmth however it isn't really necessary as the Jetseal shine isn't garish and plastic-looking like other sealants.

Note to users, it is only hard to remove if it is on too thick. Apply a thin layer then remove, repeat. By 2/3rds of the way around the car the black pad was saturated and I did not need to apply any more product to the pad. New pad used for second coat. JG
