Excellent budget friendly option. The size of the bar doesn't matter as you pull off the amount you need and save the rest. Highly recommend.

Highly disappointed. I use it once and threw it out.

Works nice. It is super sticky and you need to make sure the surface is really wet or it will leave a mark which is a pain to remove. It works for me with poor boys product.

Does it's job. As others have mentioned, it is very sticky. A lot of your autotzone clays aren't as sticky, but I've used plenty of clays that are very sticky like this. I didn't have any trouble with it sticking to the paint.

This clay bar was much stickier and therefore much harder to use than any other clay bar I have used before. Useable with TONS of lube but I really had to apply lube simultaneously with using the bar.

DI clay is some of the best I have used and after doing body and mech work for 48 years and building a hot rod or two, I like it and will only use it.

Horrible clay bar! Super sticky right out of the package. Make sure you've got a pool full of lubricant.

This is a tough one....I bought along with a few other items when I landed a new car detail job while on vacation out-of-state. One-off purchase for me, and this is a different product than I use at home. The price was certainly right, and I figured with the DI name on it, I'd be fine. And honestly, after a bit of a learning curve, it wasn't too bad...just not up to expectations.

As other reviewers have noted, it was really sticky right out of the packaging. I did my usual - cut in half and put one half in a plastic container - and it was almost humorous how sticky & grabby the material felt. Even with using a lot of extra lubricant, the material stuck to the finish, even requiring a bit of abrasive polish in one spot to remove the blue goo. Ok, lesson learned. LOTS more lube, lots of kneading and working the material by hand, and then lots of extra lube on both the finish and the bar before working a small section. Rinse, repeat, rinse repeat, and...no further problems.

Bottom line, the clay bar works as advertised - it pulled contaminants from the finish. It just took an awful lot of extra effort and caution - and lubricant - to make it so. For me, it's worth spending a bit more for a product that's easier to manage. In a pinch, for an experienced detailer, this isn't a huge deal. But for the enthusiast or someone who already has a go-to decon product, I couldn't recommend this one.

Works good. Be sure to provide plenty of lubrication. Also store in container when not in use, as it did sort of mess up a piece I left out.

This was junk. Like many other reviewers here indicated, the clay bar stuck to the paint no matter how much lubricant I used (I'm using NanoSkin's Glide as my lubricant at 1:9 ratio).

Did it work? Yes, it did grab some things off the paint. Once in awhile though, the clay would catch onto the paint and get stuck even as I constantly spray lubricant. It seems to work a little bit better when moving in circular motions as that doesn't exactly allow the clay bar to stop and change directions, which was where the clay kept getting caught.

I had to let the area dry down and rub it off with my hands in order to brush it off. You can imagine what that's likely doing to the clear coat.

I don't know what happened since there are so many good reviews but mine basically smeared clay all over my hood and trust me I'm liberal with the lube. I had to basically use quick detailer and 'scrub' the smeared clay from my hood. I can tell you it was extremely sticky coming out of the package as well. I went over my hood again with Meg's claybar and no problem. Would not buy again.

Bought the 200g bar, nice substantial amount. Bar was sticky out of the wrap, I ripped 1/6 of a piece off sprayed my hand with lube and kneaded the piece problem solved. This stuff is tough, I felt like it can take anything I can dish out. It felt like a real decontamination tool, unlike the kit stuff. I used Griot's Garage Speed Shine for lube, worked excellent. Did my whole car only to drop the piece on the last two doors. No cons for me this is professional grade all the way! very very nice!

I bought the 100g bar about five months ago and it worked well. I used the last of it a couple weeks ago but it came out the plastic wrapper very sticky like others have mentioned. I just attributed it to being in the plastic for five months. I reordered the 200g bar because I thought if I took it out of the wrapper it wouldn't become sticky. I was wrong. I received the clay and immediately opened the package and it was crazy sticky. On multiple occasions I had to use tar remover to get the clay off of the paint! No more reordering this clay until this quality issue is addressed.

Wow this clay is not good. I've used the meguiars clay numerous times with no problem. But this stuff STICKS. It took me about 60 seconds to make the decision to throw this stuff away. even with a crazy amount of lubrication it just wouldn't slide. Had to get a bunch of clay off of my paint. Just look for something higher quality.

I was so frustrated with this clay after about three times of trying to use it, it just stuck to the paint and took me about 45 mins extra just to get the clay off the vehicle and finish the job. I was so angry with it, i formed it into a ball and threw it across the road. It was very very sticky coming out of the package. Poor quality clay. I will be returning to Clay Magic NO DOUBT.

Works really well, but the clay lube I use is causing the clay to become slimy and fall apart. After fine tuning the dilution it has gotten much better though. Removes oberspray and rail dust with ease. If you have heavy tar spots on the car, I would definitely recommend using a solvent first to get as much off as possible.

I've purchased 4 bars of this fine clay and I finally suffered through the last of it. I exclusively use Dodo juice lube with claying. Pros: Reasonably priced. Cons: Very stiff clay, hard to form into a workable disc to begin application. The clay will typically break down at about ½ to ¾ through completion of a mid-sized vehicle leaving pieces of clay all over the finish. Leaves a clay film which can be hard to remove without an additional washing prior to polishing.

While I was able to obtain the results I wanted the additional time, effort, and increased product consumption makes this product a very poor choice for your claying needs.

I read all the negative reviews regarding the stiffness of the clay and difficulty to use, and I attributed this to inexperienced users and/or technique. I have experience using Clay Magic, Mothers and Meguiars brand clay bars and have never had any issues. I decided to purchase the 200g bar as it was substantially cheaper than the equivalent sized Clay Magic counterpart. I sectioned the bar into 8 pieces and have 'attempted' to use 4 of the pieces on 4 different occasions each with the same disappointing results. Today was my last time using this terrible clay and I threw out the remaining pieces. This clay is ultra stiff and near impossible to flatten into a usable sized piece. I have tried using this clay with a variety of lubes including both Dodo Juice Lube and ONR, and it always seems to stick to the paint. The clay will 'transfer' its blue color to the finish of the car. It also likes to stick to the users hands. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone looking to purchase this bar rethink their choice and instead pay the few extra dollars for a premium brand, such as Clay Magic.

I don't know what everyone else is saying that the clay is stiff. I've bought this clay several times it's the best I've used. Very easy to work with and gentle enough that you won't scratch the clear coat. Also, I use it with clay lube for the best results. Great product!

Nice size bar but the clear wrapper was heavily stuck to the clay and very sticky/gluey when trying to remove. Also the bar is not marked to identify the brand and or the grade of clay. After splitting the bar, a portion of it was used on the hood of a new car with a surplus of lubricant including the Poorboy's S&W that was included in the package purchase. Not only did the sticky/gummy clay residue stick to my hands but it smeared excessively on the paint requiring additional steps for removal. Like other reviewers, this clay does not have proper characteristics for quality or professional use. In fact we had to complete this project with our previously used Mequiar's fine grade of clay. We will continue to use Mequiars's and Griot's clays which are a much better grade of product and competitively priced.

I didn't pay for this product, but also barely saw any difference between this and clays from autoparts stores. It was a great bit more tacky right out of the packaging which led to blue stains on my fingers throughout the claying process. This clay is also a decent bit more stiff than other clays I have used. I think I'll be going elsewhere to try other clays before coming back to this stuff, but will continue to use it on wheels for as long as it lasts.

The clay required a lot of lubrication and I found it was best to use as a half-dollar sized wedge of clay and have it spread to about 1/4" thick. A few times, the clay got away from me and I had to pull some more from the bar. The clay is very sticky and it will adhere to the paint when not enough lube is used. The clay did pull a lot of contaminants from a car that rarely sees the light of day and is stored under a cover in a garage.

The clay worked fairly well at removing contaminants, but it was just too stiff and I couldn't knead it into different shapes or to reveal fresh surfaces.

This bar breaks down and sticks to the surface of the car no matter how much or what kind of lube I use. I Used ONR (light to heavy concentration), Poorboys, Meguiars, and it still sticks in some sort of way. Now this isn't the first time I have ever clayed a car so it can't just be me. The temperature outside was around 75 degrees. So I doubt it was the temperature too. I think I just got a bad batch.

Although it does appear to do it's job and remove contaminants, it is much more tough to knead than other clay which makes it difficult to work with.

The more I use this Clay bar, the more I hate it. I'm not sure if it's this batch or just this brand of claybar in general, but it keeps falling apart, leaving lots of clay bar smeared all over the surface. I bought 5 bars and 3 out of five has acted the same way. very disappointing. Clay Magic is what I have always been raised on and it does a better job and doesn't fall apart.

This is a great fine grade clay for my needs. It is harder than some, but hot water will soften it nicely and make it stickier.
It also withstands repeated cleaning with BlackFire ClayBar Cleaner and Extender, which is a big plus for professional detailers, and doesnt appear to have any problems like some of the earlier clay formulas of different brands.
I would certainly buy it again from Detailed Image,

This was my first clay bar purchase. The product was easy to use and for the most part appeared to get the job done. If your vehicle hasn't been clayed before, has a few years on her, and has some level of contamination, you might want to try the medium grade. When I clayed my 2007 3 series, I didn't pick up as many containments as I expected to.
