Professional Detailer Reviews
This towel seems to have the best of both worlds: safety of a Waffle Weave Microfiber, with the longevity of a chamois. In short, I've continually bought more and more of this towel, and the ones from a year ago do just as good as the ones I bought a week ago. This is by far one of the best microfibers I've come across.
Quite simply it's a must have towel for any detailer. It stands out in every way and makes drying a much less tedious task. It collects water better and more than any towels I have tried, it's extremely soft and safe on all paint finishes and most importantly it's extremely durable.
Customer Reviews
Dries so well. I got 2 of them and will go back and forth using one as the car dryer and putting the other one into my clothes dryer.
I thought it worked great. I have several different brands and sizes of drying towels. I mean several. From high dollar to less expensive. I felt this was one of the best for the money. I will definitely be getting another
Unfortunately as one of the other reviewers mention, once you wring out towel the first time after it gets absorbed with water i found it to almost stick to paint as you move along the surface, my car is a new and surface is in perfect condition. Towels are a personnel choice for detailing so try a few different one as I did till you find the one to your likening. But this towels really isn't great for what it's touted to do.

I have quite a few of these drying towels. Used in conjunction with my MetroVac SideKick dryer, they make quick work of drying a vehicle.
I don't think it is that great, not worth the dough. I have 2 I use at the same time and have to use other microfiber towels to finish washing my SUV
If this towel is completely dry it will soak up water, but after you wring it out and go back again it is useless. All it does is push water around without soaking it up. Im sure it has its applications in use but to market this as a replacement for a chamois is ridiculous.
Yes, it worked better than expected. I used it as directed and I was quite satisfied with the results.
It's okay, but not as absorbent as I would like. Two towels for my compact cuv and I still had water drops to deal with. The softness is good -- gentle on the finish.
I LOVE the smaller version of this towel, and figured I'd love this one too, but it's a little big to handle properly, so I'm going to try cutting in half and just use those!
VERY absorbent, soft and wrings out easily. I really do like them!

Really, what's left to be said that hasn't already been dozens of times in these reviews? Well, just this. I use the larger sizes exclusively for drying vehicles like so many of you. That said, I do the dishes at our house as the house rule is The Cook Doesn't Do Dishes. My bride tends to buy "pretty" dish towels that are about as useful for drying as sandpaper-wrapped lightbulbs. Despite my best efforts, finding towels to dry with met with mediocre results at best. As we have folks over on occasion, and wind up with dozens of dishes and tons more glasses, the latter requiring hand-washing due to fragility (think stemmed) or "labeling" (think high gravity), I grabbed a couple smaller ones, washed them, and voila! Best glasses drying in the history of humanity. Obviously keep them separated from those put to their intended use.
Leaves behind too much water no matter how many times you wringoit and go over an area so you'll get spots if you don't move to a dry towel fast enough. I prefer to use a super shammy or similar to remove most of the water quickly and them move to finishing towel
Went from a chamois to this towel. I've only used this once and didn't have any issues. I pat dried my whole vehicle and used in conjunction with the sheeting method. It absorbed everything and material is soft as described.
I had better. Does it soak enough water. I wash my 4 cars each week and this towel is not good as it says.
Love this towel! It dries easily with no streeks or water spots.
I bought one of these 2 years ago, should have bought 2 then. Now I have 2 and they are great!
Excellent product! Well worth the price. Works exactly as advertised.
Quality product that does the job. I will definitely buy this product again and highly recommend it to those seeking a quality Microfiber Waffle Weave Drying Towel. I use Adams waterless wash and use these towels to remove any moisture. I will try some other towel products from this site based on my satisfaction with initial purchase.
Easily dried my wife's Outback with no water marks remaining. Washed up easily in our washer & dryer.
Great towel for drying cars without scratches or streaks. Amazing how much water they hold. Can easily dry a car with one 24" x 36" towel. Have purchased several for myself and for others as gifts.
Amazing towel. Used 1 to dry a Nissan Armada and a second one to dry a Chrysler 300. No streaks, no drips. Locks in a lot of water, all without scratching.
The size is just right for my one small car. Can completely dry the whole car without wring out. First I dry windows so no streaks are left as opposed to last since wetter towel can leave streaks. Always fast delivery.
I use this towel after a foam gun wash, with a rinseless wash, a regular 2 bucket wash. It always performs. So very soft, right down to the edging. I like to throw it out folded once, let it lay flat, then pull it slowly towards me, easy. Works even when its wet. My pros are the size and softness, with the only con being the price, If I catch it on sale, I buy.
I like this towel. I will buy a the bigger one next time as this one is not enough for three cars. (14 Impala, 13 Equinox, and 93 MX-3)
Love the smaller size for doing ONR. Not too big to lug around when wiping up after each pass.
I have brought a few of the towels they are great for drying the car, then about a year of use they stop drying at all just moves the water on the car does not pick it up. I got to find a better drying towels. Will not be buying again for sure.
It doesn't dry as efficiently as a chamois, but since the entire detailing world advises not to use chamois (because of ingrained grit in the leather?), I've been using the waffle. It's ok, though it leaves streaks. I'm curious to see how it works now that I've applied Klasse sealant on my car.
Will be ordering another again soon, well worth it. Fast shipping I should have ordered 2.
I love it! This is my second one which is needed for those "just in case moments".
Love it. I ordered more so that I have extras on hand. Great towel.
I've used a chamois for 30 years and these drying towels are far superior! Faster and nicer! Even on my black car!

This towel does a great job and does not create swirls. I use it to dry with Chemical Guys After Wash after drying with water and the leaf blower.
I tried the micro weave drying cloth for the first and after the second time around the car and it was still wet I wanted to throw it away. Not good
I like this a lot better than the chamois. Was able to dry the vehicle a lot faster. I highly recommend this product.
good quality towel will be ordering more in near future
Best I've used for car drying. Tried a couple other brands but no comparison to the DI Waffle. Will definitely buy a couple more.
Purchased some similar looking towels off Amazon, but these are much higher quality. I would highly recommend these towels.
Best drying towel I have ever used.
I use this in conjunction with a high-pile drying towel and it works amazingly.
This towel is great and deserves the number of reviews. I've bought it multiple times and have four or five and I use some after every wash.
A potential con would be needing several towels to get two cars dried off. I think part may be the environment rather than towel's fault. Houston can be pretty hot in the summer and don't want water to dry so I work to get a car dried quickly after rinsing. I normally wash both cars at the same time since I've got everything out and already sweaty.
Overall, great towel and really like it. I look forward to utilizing it my regular routine for a while.

Great towel does the job with a quick detailer or when drying the car. This was the first drying towel I bought when I started to get into detailing. The only bad thing about the towels is the ends of the towel starts to come apart. Maybe I got a the bad ones but over all a go-to towel.
Very well constructed and super absorbent. I can easily dry my entire car without a problem. One of the best drying towels I've ever used
Beautiful material. Better quality than my bath towels. Tempted to use it on myself!!!
This towel was the biggest waste of money. Sure it soaks up some water but have to go behind it to remove the streaking on windows and paint finish. Worthless!
This is the first time I've used the waffle weave and I loved it. The way it dried my whole car without leaving streaks was such a big relief to the others I've used. I'd say two of these everytime I wash my car and I'd need nothing else besides my low quality ones for door jambs. Can't wait to get more of a stock up on these.

It's nice.
Great drying towel, very absorbent and soft. I just bought another one myself(three total) and bought another as a gift. I would recommend having two: one to do a preliminary drying which will fill up fast, and then another one to finish the job. They wash very well too.
Very absorbent. Can do the whole car and barely wring it out. Soft and won't leave swirls if used properly. I liked to spray a little ONR on the towel as I dry, to act as a lubricant. Good size and finished edges make this a basic, but valuable tool.
Very happy with this drying towel. I primarily use it for blotting when doing rinseless washes and find it works quite well. Absorbs water nicely and can hold a good amount of it. Would buy again.
Best drying towel I have ever owned. Dry my car quickly and completely.
BEST. TOWEL. EVER.
Awesome towel. Does as advertised and then just wrings out when you are done. Once they are beat up and i get a new one for the car/truck, the older ones work great for drying dogs. multi-purpose
I was a skeptic when a friend told me about microfiber drying towels. They sounded like a waste of money. Holy crap was I wrong. These towels are amazing and super easy to use. I will forever be using these towels to dry my car. Perfect every time!
This product did not work well for me. I have black F150 and soft water. I tried blotting and wiping. Either way the truck was completely covered in spots afterward. Had to go back over it with the Absorber after it dried. It does work well as a sponge but was difficult to keep it folded.
I bought this as a gift for my son after I had purchased these items for myself. I was so pleased how they worked on my Ford Fusion, that I wanted my son to have them for his Ford Escape. These were better than previous products I had purchased at local car parts store.
Great product. Works much better than micro towels I had previously bought at local car parts store.
This towel is made better and works better than drying towels that I have paid significantly more for.I am very happy with my purchase.Shipping is also reasonable on a daily basis. If there was a little more selection on some of the brands I would never have to use another detailing site.
I LOVED my waffle weave towel so much that as soon as they went on sale in December (with free shipping), I stocked up on them. They are soft, absorbent and don't leave lint. I fold it in fourths and am able to dry my entire car with 1 towel. Definitely recommend it......stock up on them when they go on sale.
I can't add anything to the reviews that are already here. It is a superior towel.
I first bought these a few months ago to dry my car after regular washing. They did the best job of any drying towel I've used. I've also used them as part of the rinseless ONR process and they do a beautiful job of soaking up all the water. Wish they had these 40 years ago.
Great micro fiber products to keep the clear coat on my new Fusion looking great for years to come. These products are much better than what can be found at the local discount auto parts stores. The size of the drying towel is so much larger than what I found locally and the thickness of the microfibers can make all the difference in soaking up the water for a spotless finish. Great product. I will be purchasing more in the future.
If I could only buy one item from this entire website, it would definitely be this towel. I was amazed at how much water it can absorb when I used it for the first time. Also had basically no paint swirl after drying and was impressed with how it left my G37. Will be buying more if they ever go on sale again.
After using this product, I now realized that I have been drying my car in an inferior manner. One of the products that I wished I would have bought years ago.
Second one of these I've purchased (the first was several years ago). I think it's even softer now. This WW does a great job drying, and it's completely safe, especially with the blotting method. Highly recommended.
Absorbs a good amount of water. I wish they had a larger one.
completely dried a 2013 5 series bmw and felt like i could have done it again without wringing it out
This towel is great. After seeing the size of the towel, I didn't think it would dry a whole car. I was wrong. This towel moped up all the water on my Infiniti. This is a great towel.
Especially for the price, I have been impressed with Detailed Image's standard issue microfiber towel, so I thought I'd try the waffle version. Again, for the money, it's superb. You can do better, but you'll pay 50% more at least.
Great drying towel. Love when DI puts these on sale.
Great towel. I use two at a time and makes it that much quicker. If you have not tried these yet you are missing out.
This towel is superb. I'm amazed at how much water this towel soaks up! No need to try anything else. You will not regret buying it!
I picked one of these up when they were on sale for $9.99.I Couldn't believe how soft and absorbent these are. They are also a good size .I will be ordering another as a back up. I am sold after one try!
I just received this item today and decided to wash my black truck. We all know black vehicles are a pain. I own a ram truck and started washing and begin to dry and this towel did excellent. I first was mad that I bought a black vehicle, but now I am truly happy. I can't believe it. I even turned off my lights in the garage and got a flash light so see how good it does and it really got every bit of water and smudges left over.
I will be ordering 3 more for sure. I might go get it dirty again just to have an excuse about wiping. I am no longer afraid of rain!

Great product...ordering another.
Had a sale on this towel when I made a purchase and bought one. It's a great towel for drying, thinner than most but absorbs an equal amount of water as the thicker towels. Very good product.
I bought one of these last year and it does a great job in absorbing water. So I bought two more since it is high quality towel.
Bought this 3 yrs ago, still going strong (the benefit of procrastinating before writing a review). Absorbs a lot of water and gentle on the finish. Seems a bit pricy, but if you shop around, you'll see this is a solid price.
I have a very old chamois (circa 1990) that I prefer for the initial wipe because I find it easier to wring out than the waffle cloth. I like the waffle cloth for absorbing the trace amount of water that the chamois leaves behind. In combination they make an excellent drying team.
Fabulous product! I wiped down my whole Lexus SUV with it and it still didn't need wringing out. Amazing. It did a great job. The family couldn't believe it.
This is my first waffle weave towel and I am not impressed. This thing mostly shoves the water around and absorbs hardly anything. Also even after my standard couple of washes before use it feels harsh to my hand and I'm sure if I put any pressure on it at all it would micro mar the paint. My old "cheapie" 320GSM towels are softer, safer and better at absorbing water.
Hands down my current favorite for drying a car besides blow drying. I really can not believe how soft it is. If you were to buy it defiantly get two of them at least.
Awesome!! Works way better than my old synthetic chamois.
I finally made the shift to using Microfiber instead of Old School Terry Towels and Chamois. What a huge difference this towel makes. I can dry the car faster and better with a single towel. Makes the whole task of drying so much better. I just ordered another for a spare.
I'm a little shocked to see so many people love this item. It seams to just push water around on the surface of my car. Its actually to big IMO,and is difficult to ringout. I have old micro fiber towels that are softer and absorb water better. I actually don't use this towel anymore!
The best towels I own. They just out preform anything else. They can be use for so many applications. I find for wax removal they out preform plush towels.
Yes, I would definitely purchase this DI Microfiber Waffle Weave Drying Towel again...and again! The quality is outstanding. It is soft, absorbent and leaves my car looking like new without the nasty swirls that other drying products often leave behind. The towel is a very generous size but not bulky. I purchased two based on the excellent reviews here and soooo happy I did...no regrets. LOVE the information your site provides and the products you offer! Thank you Detailed Image!
This towel screams quality. No tags, plush, holds a lot of water and the light blue color helps you identify the smallest particulate. Best WW towel I own hands down.
Works incredibly well. Works like a chamois but better though I haven't tried to keep using it after saturation. It felt wet but u couldn't wring any water out and it just kept on drying.
Wow. Went from an "Absorber" to this. This is the best drying towel I've ever had. I'll make sure to take care of it. 1 towel will dry my 2012 Beetle completely...I bought 3!!
Hands down the best microfiber drying towel I've used to date. Very high quality and very effective, holds an enormous amount of water... bought a second one!
I have a few ww towels from another company that I've never been that fond of, so I was hesitant to get these. I was wrong to have waited. They're awesome. Will absorb water many times over what you thing they will. I kept waiting for the drying to stop and the dragging water around to start and it never happens. No matter what size vehicle. The only thing negative is they take a LONG time to dry, but that is to be expected based on their water retention. Highly recommend.
Only drying towel I use. It's size is great and allows for it to be folded many times to allow for cushioning. Absorbs water very quickly and is a very well made towel.
Great towel for drying your prized possession. Can dry an entire car without having to wring out or seek a second towel. Very safe for soft paints like Honda and Toyota.
Friend told me to purchase this towel and glad I did, works great and absorbs a lot of water.
I've used a chamois all my life and I've always been a skeptic of anything else. Then I came across a blog from some guy named Todd Cooperrider and I decided to give some things a shot. I figured change would be good. I'm amazed at how effortless things have become after following his tips and tricks. This waffle weave towel has been very durable and absorbent, however, I suggest having at least 2 towels at the ready if you have a large car. For simplicity, I can dry an entire car during a Optimum No Rinse wash and dry session, and I never have to wring out the waffle weave towel... it's that good.
This is a very thin towel and I was surprized that it absorbs as much or more water than other towels that are twice as thick.
Pros - Soft, absorbent, lint free, good value, safest drying medium I've found so far.
Cons - A bit pricey. It is thin and quickly absorbs water so you have to wring it out often. Easy to use, but it is microfiber so it must be carefully washed or it will lose its characteristics.
Based upon 2 months of continuous use on a coupe and SUV, I would definitely buy again and recommend. I will not use anything else now.

These are the only towels you need to dry your vehicle. They are super absorbent, soft, and will last for a long time if you care for them properly. Great towels! I've already got several of my customers and friends to stop using the old towels in their garage and pick up a couple of these.
Awesome product! I incredibly was able to dry Crew Cab Dodge Ram, SRT Charger, and my wifes '12 Regal GS with utilizing one waffle towel, and a partial second waffle towel. I Never would of fathomed that would ever be possible.
Best towel for drying an glossy smooth surface, then wash in the laundry. A must have if you love your autos paint job.
BEST drying towel EVER! Not all microfiber is created equal and this is tops in my book! Big enough to get the job done, but it never feels waterlogged - I don't understand the science behind how thirsty this thing is, but I'm glad I sprung for it.....
By far the best towel I've ever used! The absorption of the towel is amazing and I usually only need one towel for smaller vehicles and two for larger cars and SUVs. A definite must have for any professional or enthusiast.
This is a must have towel IMHO. I had heard so many good things about this towel from various forums and reviews, but never felt the need to buy it since I already had another brand of waffle weave. I guess I was wrong. I thought my towel was great but this thing outperforms it in every way and costs only slightly more. Will definitely not mar the paint, and I find that one is sufficient enough to dry my entire car. If you're in need of a quality drying towel, this one is well worth the money.
This towel is awesome. In the past all I have used is an "absorber" towel to dry my car after a nice wash. Although this synthetic rubberish towel would dry my car fairly well it would still leave streaks and blotches in certain spots. This towel leaves nothing behind at all, even when it is fairly wet it still picks up more water and leaves no streaks. I will definitely be adding another to my microfiber supply soon.
Extra Large and the weave soaks up water effectively nice and soft will not mar finish.
I recently washed two cars and dried both of them with just one of these towels! Absorbs very easily; however, the towel doesn't feel as soft or plush as my other microfibers (I use Rethickulous and Great White towels). At the same time, this could just be the nap design of the towel. I still haven't seen any marring with this towel so it's definitely a winner!
Waffle weave towels are an absolute must for drying a vehicle. One towel easily dries an entire car after rinsing using the sheeting method and blowing most of the water off with a blower. Pat dry and avoid wiping as much as possible. Absorbs water like crazy. I rarely wring it out until I'm finished. Seems to hold up well to washes; use mild detergent on delicate setting, dry on lowest setting with no dryer sheets.
Long term review. Been using these for 2 years now.
Excellent towels. Not just good, they are excellent.
Extremely soft and thirsty.
Large size is just right: not too big, not too small.
I usually use 2 towels to dry a larger vehicle like a Tahoe, but I can sometimes get away with using just one towel on a small car like a Prius.
They take repeated machine washings and come out looking and feeling new (using microfiber towel cleaner of course, and no dryer sheets or softeners).
Highly recommended.

I had never used a waffle weave towel before. I tried the "pat down and drag off" method of drying on my last wash and I was shocked at how well it worked. The towel has a couple snags after only two washes which is annoying. I may have mishandled it or misused it a bit though so I can't say that is a real negative.
I consistently tell my car buddies that this towel is one of the best things I could buy for my car. It's soft and soaks up the remaining amount of water with ease. I feel confident that it's not scratching my car and you can just tell it's a wonderfully made product. This combined with the CG Microfiber Wash keeps it clean and soft for a long time. It's also so big! With the sheeting method, drying the car with this towel takes not even 5 minutes.

Of all the detailing products I purchased, this was one of the products I was most impressed with! Does an unbelievable job drying your car SAFELY. A quality product to say the least. Great job DI!
Using this towel has made my life a breeze. I use one sometimes two depending how fresh my seal is on the car but it absorbs everything and a good twist of the rag will leave you plenty of extra drying power. It's hard to dry a car fast enough in the sun but not with this.
Great towels for drying almost any area.
Liked it so much, I bought another!
DI Microfiber Waffle Weave Drying Towel picks up water like a magnet, it truly is amazing how much it absorbs and how easy is to dry your vehicle with this towel.
Bought only one of these towels at first to compare them against very similar towels found in stores for about half the price, and i was pretty surprised to see that this towel in particular held A LOT more water and sucked it up much quicker than the other towels even though they were almost identical looking. cant wait to put in an order for a couple more.
It works great! It's big enough so that I can dry the entire car too! I bought another MF drying towel similar to this and it doesn't compare. This is a high quality product.
I love these towels. Just one can dry my entire car with ease and I do not notice as many water spots or light scratches on my car now. I'll never use my old beach towels again for car drying.
This towel is great it dries cars very effectivly i have used mine a lot and it has never put swirls into the surface. these are great towels.
One towel dries the entire care. When I have told people how much my towel cost I have seen their eyes bug. It is worth it. The DI Microfiber Waffle Weave Drying Towel is super absorbant and soft. I have three now, since I have two cars and can't be counted on to stay on top of the laundry. Recommended, especially on sale.

Wonderful towels. Nice and large, and quite absorbent. You can get by with one towel on a car if its well sealed and waxed and you sheet the water when you rinse, but i highly recommend using two.
Excellent towel! Very absorbent and soft, makes drying your car a breeze!
Awesome towel. Soaks up far more water than anything else. Just be sure not to put it in the drier (unless its air-dry), or use fabric softener. They become non-absorbant. Dont ask how I know...
The best towel I have used so far. It won't scratch your paint and it is very absorbant. I would recommend getting 2 of them.
Simply outstanding. I was impressed with this towel before my car was fully protected and water pooled. I would need two to totally dry the car, but now that I have sealant on the paint, and water beads easily, I could have tried two cars with the one towel. Excellent and so soft, I wish I could use one out of the shower!
This is a GREAT drying towel! My tap water has such high mineral content that I could never dry a car fast enough to prevent spots. With the proper rinsing technique and the microfiber towel, my cars are dry in minutes with no spots!
Great towel for drying. Hope to replace all of my cotton towels with these.
Definitely agree with the other reviews here - this thing is awesome! Washed my car last night and dried it off with this, no streaks, super absorbent, and it definitely cuts down on the drying time.
this towel is great, i have had plenty of waffle weave drying towels and many others. and this right out of the box outperformed every single one of them. it removes all water and leaves no streaks or residue behind. it also does not scratch the paint. i will be ordering plenty more of these.
Great towels in general. Great size, doesn't scratch, and absorbs really well. If you are hesitating, stop
These towels are great! Makes drying the car so much easier. Very absorbent and soft. I use 2 towels to completely dry the car and make it shine.
The Best. All waffle weave towels are not created equal. I've purchased waffle weave towels at auto stores and have eventually been disappointed with the performance(thin, poorly sewn and not very absorbent). This DI towel is a professional-grade tool and has been my regular go-to drying towel for a year. High quality, of good weight and great performance. Have washed it many times and it is still holding up great. Buy the best, it's cheaper in the long run.
These towels are awesome! I use them to blot dry the remaining water after using the "sheeting" rinsing technique. Very absorbent and superior to the cheaper waffle weave towels available at AutoZone, etc.
The best dry towel I've used. Very soft and easy to use. I'll only use this waffle dry towel going forward.
Never have used a towel that has such great drying power really removes any amount of water without damaging the paint
You may laugh , but as RFK said don't make fun of my dog. I purchased the largest Micro fiber towels to dry my big puppy my White German Shepard after his doggy detail.. Great Towels . I recommend them highly for your car , you dog or your self.

The best DI Microfiber Waffle Weave Drying Towel on the market you can buy. only need 1 towel to do the whole car. trust me, buy it and you won't regret it. I have 2 so far and will buy more.
Perfect for using with a quick detailer to dry the car quickly without marring the paint.
The ONLY choice for drying a car properly. Chamois is junk...
If you use the sheeting method for your final rinse, just one of these towels could dry multiple cars completely. It's well worth the cost, you won't regret it.

This towel is remarkable. It really works great. One note of caution: do not wash it with fabric softener. It will completely ruin the absorbency. But this towel is an absolute must have.
Prior to the DI Microfiber Waffle Weave Drying Towel, I was using only synthetic chamois to dry. Then I moved to using larger microfiber towels. Finally I decided to try DI's Waffle Weave, and I AM NOW 100% CONVERTED! This towel is awesome and has been the best drying tool that I have EVER used in years! It's amazing how much water this picks up before having to wring out. I can complete a compact car with this thing without wringing out; this is perfect with the blotting method too. Finally, all you have to do is lightly touch this towel to the paint surface and it absorbs like crazy. If you're on the fence about your decision, I suggest GET IT!
Great towel! I did the 'blotting' method with this towel to dry my entire car, and hit the car with quick detailer and a rethickulous towel to clean everything up. I was really pleased with the results. I can't wait for these to go on sale so I can get some more of these, as I paid full price the first time I purchased. Nonetheless I consider it money well spent! I'd recommend this to anyone looking to reduce chances of swirling your paint when drying.
Great towel - works like a charm. And when these are on sale, I'm convinced there's no greater value.
I love when these go on sale so I can stock up. The waffle weave does make a difference compared to normal microfiber towels, it really soaks up the water. And unlike some competitor's products, I never have lint issues with my DI towels, and it's safer on the soft BMW paint than cotton, chamois, or an "Absorber".
I only used chamios for many years until now . These waffle weave towels are great supper soft and very absorbent. One towel does the whole car , but I got three .Great price & supper service. DI is the best THANKS
These waffle weaves are great! This towel soaks up some water!
These waffel weaves are Great! Couldn't think of a better way of drying the car.
Very good and absorbing water. I was my cars on a regular basis and have always been pleased with these towels. I recently bought a new set, because the ones I had needed to be changed.
This towel is amazing, I used to use absorber needless to say I have thrown away the absorber and will only use this on my car from now on out. There are no water etchings or marks left after washing.
Just purchased 2 of these towels and I am completely satisfied. I was apprehensive of the cost but this is one case where the quality and performance justify the price. I got what I paid for !
Awesome product! I have just recently started getting into detailing the right way. I have always used cotton towels and it usually takes two full size bath towels to do a car. This ONE towel did a full car and still had room to spare. Plus its smaller and easier to manuever! Already ordered more!
I started out using chamois then cotton (USA made only). Now the only thing I use is the waffle weave towel. I bought four of them don't ask me why I never used any more than two. I think this is what i'll stick with.

These towels are great. I have some cheapo Microfiber towels for applications where they will get trashed....these are treated with care.
This is great to remove the last bit of water on your car. After a wash i usually use a chamois or other item similar (the absorber) to remove the heavy water (but this leaves behind water streaks). Using this drying towel afterwords removes the last bit of water and leaves behind a dry surface to start your next step.
This towel is huge. I dried my entire mazda 3 without ringing it out once.
What everyone else says - Very absorbent, so no rubbing required. I just lay it out on the wet car, and gently pat.
An absolute necessity. I've been using regular store microfiber towels for years and I cannot understand why. This towel is wonderful. I can dry my entire car with two to a perfect shine. I've been skeptical of the price tag but it is worth every single penny.
These work wonderfully to dry my car. I use a pair of them, and they make the job and easy task.
I have to be honest I was skeptical at first, but this is a awesome product. Truely works great!!
Great MicroFiber towel to dry off a car. Nice size. I use two when drying my car: first one to get the majority of the water; the second to go over and mop up anything left over. Very good quality. Very gentle on your car's finish. Washes up very well.
Best towels to dry with hands down.
Excellent towel! Very absorbent and soft. Will make drying your vehicle a breeze!
This drying towel is freaking amazing! i only need to use one of these towels on my bmw to dry the whole car, but i need to use two of these towles for the suv since these are hard to wring water out. i will never use anything else ever again.
Cotton towels will absorb only so much then start to leave water streaks on the car. This waffle towel is insane. My paint is black and it never leaves anything behind. Good to use when you apply a wax-as-you-dry product.
As a dryer, yes it does its job well. But the bloody thing is huge and it is very hard to wring it out.
I was very skeptical about purchasing this towel but I must say it was money well spent. I just wish I would have bought it sooner. It absorbs water like nothing else. This is a must have!
I was initially skeptical about this towel since I'm used to drying with a shammie, but after using the waffle weave towel, I was very impressed with how absorbent it is and how quickly it dries the vehicle. I will definitely be picking up a few more in the future.
Very good drying towel, i'll only use this from now on.
I have three of these towels. They are by far the best drying towel I have ever used!
I would not buy this again because I feel another waffle weave towel is better. In terms of price/performance the DI towels are much better, but if you can spend a few extra dollars I would go with something else.
Excellent towel, I used 1 towel to dry my entire (compact) car. I threw all my other towels away and I'm going to get more of these. Perfect!
I absolutely love these towels. They make drying so easy and efficient, and have lasted very well. Good to have a couple on hand so you can do a final pass with a clean one.
I was skeptical even after reading all these positive reviews. But after a few washes, I am convinced at how absorbent they are and how quickly and easily I now dry my car. Buy a couple and you will be set. Note that I only need one to dry 2 cars but it's always good to have a spare.
This towel (and detailed image) made drying fun. Nobody makes drying fun...
I gotta concur with the others here. This thing is great. The waffle weave is far, far superior to other MF drying towels. Use the "sheeting" method and this towel, and it works great. One towel and my SUV is dry.
This is a great product. One towel and the whole car is dry, I follow it with a smaller mf towel to pick up the details but I would say 95% or more will get picked up with ease. Before I would use 6-7 small MF towels.
For years I was struggling with drying my vehicles to show room quality. Cotton towels left lint and "shamys" actually did more harm than good. The DI Microfiber Waffle Weave has ended this headache. Combine this towel with the sheeting method and the results are exceptional! Thank you Detailed Image!!!
Great waffle-weave towel, holds a lot of water, and it's very soft. I only need one to dry the car (if I use the 'sheeting method'), but I will eventually pick up more so I can wash and dry multiple cars in a day. I'd also be interested in a smaller one for trim or lower panels!
As others have previously stated, I was also skeptical about spending $17 on a drying towel but after using it I am extremely satisfied with the purchase. It picks up water better than anything else I have ever used and seems like it will last forever. If you keep the towel clean and spot dry as oppsoed to wiping you should have no problem with scratches or swirl marks.
Great towel! Does a much better job that a cotton towel. I debated about spending $17 on a towel, but I am definitely glad that I did.
Softest drying towel I have. Does a superb job of safely drying. Highly recommended.
Save yourself the time and buy 2 or more WW. This is the ONLY towel to dry your car with. Extremely soft and highly absorbent. Once you use it, you will wonder why you didn't buy one sooner.
Awesome WW. I've used other WW, but this one is by far superior! I only used one and it did the whole car with ease. Will probably buy another one because I'm addicted!
This is the best drying towel I've used yet! I've tried the Autozone/Pep Boys stuff and this is far better! No scratches, dries nicely, and perfectly sized! Does a wonderful job!
Excellent Towel.....one does my entire car. Very soft and i like the fact that these have no tags.
So good that I want more towels. I even use it around the house. I can do both my Crossfire & Grand Prix GXP with one towel. It's the perfect mate for ONR. They're a great combination. Everytime it goes on sale, just add it to the order you're placing. Great Buy!
I like how absorbent it is. I can dry both my Pontiac GP GXP and Chrysler Crossfire with just one towel. I love it.

This has got to be my favorite purchase of all from this website. This thing absorbs water like nothing else. I didnt have to wring it out once, even after drying the whole car. I have to say this microfiber drying towel absorbs water better than anything else I have EVER used. Super soft material and great absorbing power!

Echoing other comments already made - I've tried and used a number of alternatives over the years, the waffle weave microfiber is far away the way to go without stripping protectant or damaging your vehicle's paint.

These are some of the softest WW I have dealt with. Having a good, reliable towel to use on my customers cars is important. This towel is very soft and can hold a bunch of water. 1-2 towels is all you need to dry one vehicle, but my MF addiction has lead me to buy tons of these!

I hate to be wet blanket (no pun intended), but I'm not convinced these are any better than a thick 100% cotton product. I will add, however, that I do have trouble drying my car in general (despite following all recommendations) so maybe that or our water is at fault.

This is the only drying towel you will need and should buy. I can dry my entire vehicle in one passing with out wringing it out once. I would still recommend getting two so you can do a second pass with a dry towel for that perfect shine.

I've been a long time user of Meguiar's water magnet drying towel. I ordered one of these towels, and within a few days ordered another. Best drying towel I've ever used (and I've tried at least 4-5) and I'm going to order in bulk next time just to keep a few around. Awesome drying towel, a must have.

For many years I used nothing but 100% USA cotton towels for drying my cars. Lately I've experimenting with waffle weave towels from various suppliers. I have found the DI Microfiber Waffle Weave Drying Towel to be the softest most absorbent of all that I have tried.
