Product Description
The Diamond ProTech Diamond Body 36 is an easy to apply coating layer designed to be incredibly durable! The "36" in the name refers to the increased durability which should last 3 years or 36 months! Diamond ProTech's patented technology provides you with an inorganic polymer (perhydropolysilazane - PHPS) layer that is extremely hard. According to Diamond ProTech this is due to a merging matrix of enriched nanodiamonds with the inorganic PHPS, which creates a flexible coating layer great for weekend warriors or professional detailers. The unique 1 layer system will crosslink for a really tight bond, which increases hydrophobic properties with only one coating layer. Versatility allows it to be applied on glass, windows, and wheels. Diamond Body provides the hardness rating of 9H on the pencil scale and increases the chemical resistance. - Apply in temperatures between 10-30C, 50-90F.
- Apply in a closed, well ventilated indoor area with air humidity not exceeding 70%.
- Wear protective gloves.
- Use fresh applicators and microfiber towels for application of additional layers (do not use previously used towels).
Application Tips
- Hand polish/buff after application (do not use machine tool).
- Apply to headlights, rubber and metal trim elements.
- If application in hot climate (over 30C/90F), lower flashing time to 3-5 min.
- As the solvent evaporates, the painted surface will haze. This indicates that the car has absorbed the coating and is ready for buffing to remove excess material.
- Use an additional light source to control your work when polishing treated surfaces.
Instructions
- Wash, polish and treat the car body with Diamond Body Prep.
- Shake Diamond Body 36 well for 15 seconds.
- Place 15 drops on an applicator and apply to 1-2 elements of the car in crosshatch fashion.
- Wait 5-10 mins buff off excess with a low-nap microfiber towel.
- Allow to cure for 1 hour before using the vehicle.

Directions

Great value. The finish is grippier than Diamond Body, but that seems to be the current trade off for durability. I top this with Diamond Body for my customers and its a winning combination. Easy to apply, levels easily, cures quickly without I/R lighting, looks great and it seems to last. I've used it on wheels as well, no issues to report. The fore mentioned combo or CarPro UK 3.0 topped with CarPro SIC are currently my two ceramic offerings. Diamond Body winning for black paint as its so easy to level.
I think i'm with Ryan on this one. I didn't see any sign of the coating and i been doing coatings for a couple years now. The instructions say to leave it on for 5-10 mins but the flash time was more like 2-3 mins in 70-80 degrees. If you waited any longer you would have to buff off the coating. It's definitely not user friendly in my opinion. Do yourself a favor and just wait for Cqtz to come out with consumer grade diamond coating.

Would they buy this item again? Yes
I bought this kit from the rag company when it first came out. I applied it sometime in October 2022. I've never put any toppers on it because I wanted to see how the actual coating performed. It is still beading very well and my car lives outside in the harsh Louisiana sun. It was the first coating I ever applied and simple enough that I didn't mess it up. Great coating
