Product Description
The Dynabrade Renny Doyle Series DB8 Polisher is an ergonomic, gear driven polisher designed for quick and easy imperfection removal! Dynabrade paired up with the detailing mind of Renny Doyle of Detailing Success to bring you a high-quality polisher. This unit was born out of the thought that Renny wanted something to cut like a rotary unit, but finish like a dual action polisher. The powerful 1000-watt motor is perfectly suited for detailing applications and the thumb controlled speed dial offers 11 speed settings (150 to 350 opm) for ease of use and control during the polishing steps. 6.8mm of throw helps you target imperfections quickly, while still being able to fit into tight areas and the gear driven design stops the unit from bogging down, even in heavy correction applications. Ergonomics were highly sought after during the design stage of this unit and this is shown with the features of low vibration, tactile grip, dual rubber supports, and the low profile and lightweight body (5.5lbs). The DB8 can run 5" or 6" backing plates and the 20ft power cord is flexible and oil resistant for durability and added maneuverability. This is my go to machine. The ergonomics. The ease of use. The shorter throw and lower profile make for a completely controllable forced rotation polisher. I also have the Flex beast, which has better cutting capabilities, but it is so much harder to control compared to this machine. The swiveled cord attachment is also the cherry on top of an amazing tool. If i had one complaint it would be the noise that it makes as its a little higher pitched than I am used to with the flex. Overall, my favorite polisher I own.
Great ergonomics, powerful and balanced and is a great machine for both beginners and seasoned professionals. The reflection board that comes with it is a game changer for us professionals looking to improve our finished product.
The power cord is swiveled which is a brilliant idea and the tool fits perfectly in my hands and more importantly feels great!
