IK e Foam Pro 2 Reviews
Professional Detailer Reviews
As someone who is always looking for efficient and effective gear to make detailing faster and more enjoyable, I was recently sent a IK e Foam Pro 2 test unit from the great people at IK and I have to say, I am extremely fond of it.
The e Foam Pro 2 is a compact, battery powered foam sprayer, but do not let the size fool you, this thing performs like a champ across a variety of setups.
Customer Reviews
I used this foaming sprayer to wash my car and found it extremely easy to use when applying foam. The spray is pretty even and consistent, and the wet foam tip attachment delivers a thick layer of foam quickly. It definitely speeds up the foaming process compared to manual or pump sprayers. However, while the performance is solid, there are several design and usability issues that stand out.
Pros:
-Sprays evenly and consistently.
-Foam is thick and clings well when using the wet foam tip.
-Fast and efficient way to apply foam to a vehicle.
-Simple to operate
Cons:
-Water can enter the motor when the unit is placed on a wet surface, due to unprotected vent placement.
-The 1.5L capacity is too small for the $120 price tag.
-Battery and motor is not easily replaceable. (if IK decides replacements will be sold)
-The silicone flap covering the USB-C port is hard to secure properly.
-Very loud—causes ear ringing even outdoors, and is worse indoors.
-Overall build and features do not match the premium price.
-Manufacturer Packaging was poor. Expect your foam sprayer to be scratched in the box as it rattles around freely.
Conclusion:
While it performs well in delivering foam and is easy to use, the design flaws and high price make it hard to recommend. If you already have an electric foam sprayer you're happy with, this one doesn't offer enough improvements to justify the purchase. At a lower price point (around $75), it would be a more realistic buy.

Have used this 3 times since purchase and each time the car was clean after use. When you don't have the time to pull out your pressure washer this is a great alternate and beats a wash bucket. The compressor is noisy but it maintains adequate pressure to ensure a good soapy coverage. Will purchase again when this one no longer works.
It works great. For an additional $20, you can buy an extra foamer head from DI and modify it so that it does not foam by removing filters. That way, you'll have a quick swap between foaming and spraying.
Bought 2. One works well so far, but the second one won't stop pressurizing the container. The pressure relief valve releases excess pressure but the pump keeps going.
I am loving this thing so far and over the next year I literally expect to save hours from not having to pump for 1 or 2 minutes at a time, not to mention no risk of bending the shaft while I pump. It pressurizes quickly and keeps enough pressure to get constant quality of foam. The only issue I have run into so far is that if the compressor does not run for a minute or two, it completely shuts off and you don't realize it until your quality of foam goes away and you realize the compressor is not turning on. (then go through the 3 second button hold and press to start) Overall 10/10 and I hope they make these for the Multi line as well.
Used for first time with snow foam on a grand Cherokee. Just enough foam to do all of it. First time using foam and loved not having to pump it up. Very easy to use and a constant flow. Love it
This foam sprayer is a real game changer. No more hand pumping and no more pressurizing through a Schrader valve to get about 10 seconds of spring time. I have been anxiously awaiting the release of this sprayer and it is everything I hoped it would be.
Yes, and I would recommend it to my friends
As advertised. Great and convenient.
Overall good product! Provides nice controlled suds!
It sprays firm and even. Just like their manual foam spray. But the compressor is really loud compared to the rubbit e foam spray that im used to using. If the noise doesnt bother you, this is a great product.
