The Koch Chemie Alkali Wheel Cleaner helps you safely and thoroughly clean your rims during every detail! Your wheels and tires become incredibly dirty, fast and this is not just due to dirt and grime, but brake dust as well. Koch Chemie formulated this wheel cleaner with what they refer to as special dirt carriers and an alkaline solution. This combination quickly pulls contamination from the surface and dissolves it, allowing for quick removal with minimal agitation. Simply dilute 1:2 to 1:10, spray onto the surface, let it dwell and rinse away! Application is that easy and the finished results will be a clean surface ready for protection. Even though it is strong, it is still gentle and can be used on wheels that are steel and alkali-resistant painted aluminium. Product Description
The powerful, alkaline wheel cleaner with exceptional dirt absorption capabilities and cleaning power. Using a complex combination of special dirt carriers and an alkaline solution, the dirt resulting from brake abrasion is quickly dissolved and dispersed, similarly to acidic wheel cleaners. The rim wheel is also thoroughly cleaned after just one application. The Alkali Wheel Cleaner generates minimal foam for excellent moistening and minimal foam for excellent moistening and minimal fogging. These properties make it impossible to quickly and thoroughly clean the wheels without irritating skin.
Directions
Areas of use: Steel rims and alkali-resistant painted aluminum rims.
Instructions for use: Depending on the dirt accumulation, apply a 1:2 to 1:10 solution to the whole of the rinsed rim (avoid running). Allow to react for a short time, if required finish off with a brush and rinse off thoroughly with a high-pressure appliance.
Do not use on hot surfaces. Not suitable for use as a pore-cleaning agent to remove insects or rust film on anodised strips and alkaline-sensitive plastics. Do not use on surfaces sensitive to alkalis such as polished aluminum, chrome, etc. Do not let dry. Before using. check suitability and compatibility.

The price is a bit high but it's a very good wheel and tire cleaner and it's super concentrated. At 5:1 it is so strong and probably good for neglected wheels and tires. I've been using it 10:1 for weekly washes on my BMW M and AMG wheels and it does a great job. I noticed that the brake disks don't have a rusty look after using this as well as if it has some sort of rust inhibitor or something. It doesn't seem to affect the protection at this rate (10:1). Definitely way better than brake buster for my needs
