Would they buy this item again? Yes
Haven't used KCXs other wash/wax combo products, but this one is amazing in the right conditions.
Paint surface / glass must be CLEAN as in no stubborn contaminants. Would be perfect to use right after a clay bar.
If these conditions are met, the paint looks like it is ceramic coated. Granted, it does not last very long, but it is enough protection to keep most contaminates from bonding to the point of needed a clay bar to be removed.
On my daily driver, I have Gyeon View on all glass except for rear doors, and you cannot tell there is a difference between them. The only thing they have been treated with is this soap.
High pH prewash such as green star will sufficiently clean and strip dirty areas such as bumper and lower portions of doors, rinse, and hand wash with this soap. It is not a very powerful cleaner so if your paint is not well maintained to start with this soap won't clean it well, and certainly won't add any meaningful protection.
I have a few bottles of ceramic coating still setting unopened because of how well this soap keeps the paint, it just has not felt worth the trouble to do.
