Product Description
The Koch Chemie Teerwasche A is a safe, yet extremely effective tar and bitumen remover! Bitumen is a mixture of hydrocarbons obtained naturally or as a residue from petroleum distillation commonly found in roofing and road surfacing materials. Standard shampoos do a great job lifting away dirt, grime and dust, but heavy contamination like tar and bitumen can stick to the surface, resistant to traditional washing methods. Teerwasche A is a solvent-based cleaner carefully formulated by Koch Chemie for effortless removal of tar and bitumen. To apply, simply spray undiluted to a dry surface and allow to dwell. During the dwell time Teerwasche will react to the contamination, loosening it from the surface so that it can be rinsed off with a pressure washer, garden hose, or even with a simple wipe of a clean microfiber towel. The manufacturer notes that this high quality cleaner is suitable for all solvent-resistant surfaces of vehicles, workshop floors, machinery, etc. It is free from any halogenated hydrocarbons and has Daimler approval.
