Lake Country Force White Polishing Pad Reviews

I had a chance to use this pad yesterday and I did not like it. I was using a Rupes 21 with a 6 inch backing plate. My speed setting was at 4. I was using a light polish. Half way through the car, the pad was cupping pretty badly and when I would get near the edge you could hear the pad wanting to come off the backing plate. The velcro did not want to stick as well as other brand pads we use. Maybe it would work better on a buffer with less throw, but I have not tried that yet.

I use this foam pad to finish and the finish with menzerna 3000,3800 is impressive. I also use it to finish on 3D one, the results are very effective!!

Overall this is a good pad for removing holograms and the final step pad after a compound when removing polishing marks induced by a coarse pad and heavy compound. I used an orange pad and had some holograming, came back with these pads and 3D one and it removed the holograms nicely with only 3 passes.

One bad thing about this line of pads is the velcro backing does not hold up and the pad breaks down bad. I went through 4 orange pads and 2 white pads. All the pads had the velcro backing seperating and the pads were mushy and broke down substantually after only working 2 panels on a honda civic.

Great should have bought two. Bought orange, white and black cutting pads, 5" blacking plate.

Great pad. It holds up to all day usage, washes fairly easy & the most important of all; it actually works. I've been using it to wax & polish with different products & works great with med., light polishes & a good cleaner wax with this pad after claying will blow your mind & cut down your work time.
