Unfortunately I didn't pick this up from DI. No, an old friend of mine bought this locally for me to install on his 2017 GMC Sierra. I had planned on using one of my favorite coatings, but he has been a Meguiar's fan since I started using them in 1996!

I've detailed his cars for years. I also take care of his Mom's Equinox as well. So he's no stranger to the sealants and coatings I've used in the last.

He is absolutely blown away with the performance of the Meguiar's Hybrid Paint Coating. He tortures the finish of his truck with tunnel washes, and using the board hair brush where he works. Since August this coating has been taking a beating. We went on a mini road trip the day after Christmas 2021, and I was impressed to see small, tight beads of water STILL being produced from this coating.

It was incredibly easy to apply and remove, it almost rivals Optimum Gloss Coat in that regard. It left a very slick, hard shell-like feel, and a dark, rich finish.

I work with professional coatings at work, and feel this Meguiar's offers better performance and protection based on maintenance washes we do for customers, and seeing how my friend tortured this Meguiar's coating. Hopefully people don't get hung up on not seeing the word "ceramic", or "graphene", and give this one a chance. Not for me or Meguiar's, but for themselves! We charge $1500.00 to apply pro coatings, and this stuff blows them (Ceramic Pro 9H, Xpel Fusion) away.

A quick and easy coating option when you want one a little less expensive and one that is much easier to apply. Not much of a learning curve, spray it on the pad, wipe on a manageable area, wipe off. Second coat applied an hour later is a big bonus over ceramic coatings. My daughters car still beads water wildly after three months.
