Product Description
The Rupes Marine XP-900 Polymer Sealant is designed to deliver shine and long lasting protection in an easy to apply spray on protective layer. Boats and other water vessels can be larger and time consuming to detail. With the XP-900, you can simply spray and wipe, saving you so much time and effort during the application process. When sprayed, XP-900 forms a resilient, cross-linked polymer layer that bonds directly to the surface. This barrier actively repels water, salt spray, UV radiation, and environmental contaminants, preventing oxidation, fading, and staining. You can apply it to gelcoat, metal, glass, vinyl and painted surfaces and the finished result is a stunning, crisp, glossy finish that will last up to 3 months. With its exceptional slickness, the XP-900 also makes future cleaning a breeze, allowing dirt and grime to rinse away effortlessly. Product Description
To Protect Gelcoat and Painted Boats from UV Rays and Other External Agents
Directions
- Properly wash the vessel. Decontaminate the vessel with chemical and mechanical methods.
- To remove oxidation, scratches, and water spot etching, compound vessel gelcoat surfaces with XC-100 Marine Extra-Cut Compound or Marine XC-Fast-Cut Compound by rotary or DA Polisher with Rupes Twisted Wool or Cut & Finish Wool pad.
- Remove swirl marks and haze with XF-500 Marine Fine Compound using Rupes Yellow Fine Foam polishing pad.
- Use Rupes Reveal Lite to clean the surface before XP-700 Nano Protection application. Spray on a microfiber towel and wipe the surface. Turn to a dry side of the towel and buff off lightly.
- Shake XP-700 Nano Protection bottle thoroughly first.
- Apply XP-700 Nano Protection to a 1 meter x 1 meter area with Rupes white Ultra-Fine foam pad using rotary or DA polisher. Repeat application until all vessel hull and top surfaces are covered with XP-700 Nano Protection.
- XP-700 Nano Protection residue can be wiped off immediately, or can be applied to the entire vessel and then wiped off with multiple microfiber towels.
- Apply XP-900 Polymer Spray Sealant to the dry or wet surface by spraying a light mist or spray on a good quality microfiber towel and wipe the surface in a 1 meter x 1 meter area.
- Immediately wipe off the residue with a separate clean dry microfiber towel. Turn the towel to a dry side and lightly wipe dry.

TIPS FOR SUCCESS
- Apply out of direct sunlight
- Apply XP-900 Polymer Spray Sealant every 1-3 months as a topper over Rupes XP-700 Nano Protection to extend durability.
- Wipe off residue with 2 towel method. 1st a short pile microfiber towel followed immediately with a long pile microfiber towel.
