Rupes Medium Wool Pad Reviews

This pad is a beast for one step applications.

After I bought my first batch I had my neighbor's 1995 Camaro SS to polish. I gave him a pretty deep discount because it's just three garages down (we live in a condo complex), and he's a really good friend. Thus I didn't want to spent a ton of time one it we started with just the one step polishing + a ceramic coating.

The combination of the yellow Rupes wool pad and 3D ONE removed almost all of the damage since 1995 and left a finish ready for protection.

Like the blue, but not as bad there is a little bit of a rocky user experience upon initial use, but it soon smooths out to a pleasant buffing experience. The pads clean out easily on the fly and after the job. They seem well built too. Time will tell how durable they are, but I have confidence they will do just fine. I can't recommend the team of blue and yellow Rupes wool pads enough. Hated both at first, but today I NEED them.

Used this pad with Rupes 21 and Rupes Coarse on a Lexus RC-F in pearl white. Clear coat is med hard and it did the job right. It will need a finishing combo after on other colors and clear coat softness.

Yes, I would buy it again. It removes light scratches and imperfections quickly. It does leave some minor swirls, which come out with a white foam pad a swirl remover. I really like the Rupes medium wool pads.

Cooler temperature, better cut , no hazing easy to use . The ideal one step polishing pad type, my choice for daily drivers on a budget !

I keep 6 of these pads in my polish bag at all times.

Cleaning the pad is a must to ensure maximum cut and effectiveness on each panel so be prepared .

Extremely soft wool pad and medium softness foam backing. High quality pad for sure. Worked well on my wife's 2010 sonata.

Worked fantastic as a one step on my hard Audi paint when paired with Sonax Perfect Finish. On soft paint this may haze ever so slightly.

These pads are heaven sent and the polishing capabilities are unmatched. I used this pad to polish off a heavy sealant and it finished down beautifully. Can't beat the detailed image price and I'll definitely order a few more of these

I have been waiting for someone to come out with a pad like this, gives you that rotary feel from a dual action polisher and Rupes quality is a standard in this business.

Extremely soft wool pad and medium softness foam backing. High quality pad for sure. Will be a great 1 step on a lot of paints, and has worked great so far when using The Last Cut compound. I tried it on soft black paint with a heavy cut compound and it had great cut but finished with some haze, which is expected due to the softness of the paint and the compound I was using. Another great pad to have in the arsenal!

Too much hype on this product. Used by my husband with a rupes mille and rupes uhs polish on his Merc SLK55 AMG and my son's Porsche Cayenne. Results were ok - nothing to write home about. Some slight hazing. Have gotten better results using rupes 21mm and regular orange foam pad. Maybe I was expecting too much but then again, there is too much hype on this product when supposedly used with rupes mille polisher and rupes uhs compound - Kind of dissapointed. the search continues.
