Between me and another detailer nearby we've gone through something like four of these new models in a year with electrical glitches battery issues unknown whatever problems Detailed lmage was helpful in dealing with one of the first 2 that were defective but it doesn't change the fact that this particular product has major issues unless the issue a recall I am done purchasing headlights by Scangrip. I'm writing this now because last one I had that was actually working which was a replacement for another detective one is now not accepting a charge. For the price of these things this is unacceptable not to mention the fact that I still have one from the generation before this model and it works perfectly fine still.

This Scangrip light is excellent in terms of function and build quality. My only gripe about the product is the user manual. It needs to be better written in terms of how specific functions work.

This is the first light I've bought for detailing and it's worth it. It's great to see better in interiors. Battery lasts for a while on medium brightness. I usually just turn it on when I need it and it's never died on me so far.

It has much better brightness and light output than the previous generation. It was very annoying that I had to assemble the strap to the light myself. It should just come with the strap pre installed for the money. It charges fast and I like that it shows when it's actually complete. Green light and notification on how close you're getting to full charge is nice.

I like the 5 color temperature and the ability to lower the light output, which I assume would help battery life. As I don't need full output of light all the time. The hands free swipe across to turn on works with black gloves now, which is good because the old generation did not.

This light is horrible. Short battery life, not a bright as v2/2nd model or 1st model. My first model is still brighter and the battery last longer.

Not a good as it advertises , stick with the Mach 2 instead. The light is not as bright , i had the lamp for 1 week and the motion sensor gave out. Now I have to make a claim with scangrip and they mentioned could be 4-5 weeks before i get a new on or it get fixed. So naw I wouldn't recommend it
