Higher GSM, thick, larger and longer nap microfiber towels are great for some detailing steps, but when polishing metal areas, wiping interior surfaces and various other automotive areas, a smaller, shorter nap microfiber towel may be preferred. With the DI Microfiber Mini Grey Towel you have a 365 GSM, short nap towel that is made up of 100% split Chinese microfiber (70% Polyester / 30% Polyamide). The edge of the towel is stitched together, increasing durability. One side features a short nap, great for use on a more delicate surface, while the other side is an extra short nap, which glides across tougher surfaces with ease. While this towel really shines when used on metal, you can use this towel on virtually any surface. Really enjoy using this smaller towel. In addition to metal polishing, it is great for dirty hinge areas on door jambs, as well as under the hood and trunk jamb areas. I like the size as it doesn't come unfolded when being used and allows me to get into much tighter areas than the traditional 16x16 towels folded into half or quarters. Also if I really gunk them up, I can throw them away without too much remorse because of the super low cost when purchased in bulk.
