I have read all the above reviews, and I think I may have gotten a bum bottle of this stuff.... My first question is this?? What color are your cars that you don't see this stuff sling off onto the body. I love the shine of this product, but I can't beleive how much slings off onto my paint. I apply it EXACTLY as the directions indicate. Just this weekend I Cleaned my wife's WHITE Maxima. I dressed the tires on Saturday afternoon. The car sat all night in the garage and she took it out Sunday afternoon... when she returned from a local trip no more then 40 mph on any streets... she came back home to a car that looks like poppy seeds were plastered down both side from the spatter of the tire gel.... I would love for someone else to be honest. I can't be the ONLY person who bought this Tire Gel and it slung off onto the side of my car :( On the flip side I have the Paint Sealant from this same company and it's top notch..... Sorry for being honest.

DI Reply: From the sounds of it, I don't know if you properly applied the dressing. Sometimes the bottle doesn't offer the best directions on how to apply a product. Here's my recommended technique. The first thing you have to do is properly prep the tires with a rubber degreaser. Mist some degreaser onto the tires and scrub the tires with a brush to remove as much contamination as possible. Do this prior to your wash step so the grime doesn't kick up onto your paint. As far as application goes, you want to apply the dressing as THIN as possible. If you want more gloss, apply another thin coat. This technique should prevent the slinging you experience and still give you the gloss you desire. Give it another chance using that technique and let us know how things turn out the next time around.

Excellent product - as others have said, no sling and long lasting. I put this product on my car a week ago and put an OTC product on my wife's car for comparsion. There is no comparison. My tires look great (even after 2 days of rain) and her tires are faded. If you're looking for an easy product to apply, that lasts and doesn't sling, this is it.

This product lives up to most of its claims. It is very easily applied, gives a wonderful shine, and does NOT sling in dry weather. After a day in very light, misty rain, the dressing obviously mixed with the water and slung very slightly. Also, after the rain, the dressing is not very noticeable. However, in dry weather, this dressing cannot be beat!

The directions say to moisten the applicator with water before use. I'm not sure if it helped or not but the application process was very easy. I applied 2 medium coats and about 4 hours later I drove 150 miles to a concert. After the trip I noticed there was no splatter on the wheel wells or panels of the car. Good product!

Easy to apply and gives a nice clean look without overspray.

The jury is still out on the "long lasting" part of this but it is easy to apply and looks way better than the standard sprays. Also keeps from getting onto your rims where break dust can stick to it causing a greasy type mess that is hard to clean off. Make sure you use the provided sponge and wear a rubber glove or you will get pretty messy.
