Product Description

The Blackfire Midnight Sun is a premium wax from Blackfire that delivers a deeper and wetter finish then any other product previously created by Blackfire. Blackfire has put as much pure Brazilian Ivory Carnauba Wax in this product as reasonably possible with gloss enhancing oils. The addition of more carnauba gives this wax a harder appearance and feel to it. This creates a "hard candy" like effect, which really magnifies the paint and makes it look super glossy. The harder formula also offers stronger protection against abrasions and temperature change. After extensive testing and revisions Blackfire was able to keep this product very easy to apply and remove as well. Apply one coat by hand with the supplied foam applicator and you'll be sure to turn heads with this outstanding wax. You can put it on the bare paint or apply it after sealing your paint. It is commonly applied after a coat of the Blackfire Wet Diamond with Polycharger for maximum protection and shine. No matter what steps you've previously completed you will add significantly more gloss and depth to the paint. The larger 7.4 oz container comes with a FREE foam applicator, FREE premium microfiber towel and a storage bag that looks very classy. The 3 oz container is considered a sample size with no additional free items. The 7.4 ounce container will easily provide 20 - 25+ coats if applied nice and thin as intended. The 3 ounce sample size can provide 10+ coats when applied correctly.

One of the main reasons this wax has become such a staple in my detailing arsenal was the look it gave on a variety of colors - but more specifically metallic colors. After application, the depth given by the wax rivals that of the most expensive waxes on the market. The clarity it brings through the metallic flakes allows colors to shine in the lowest light scenarios. Overall, as I stated in the beginning, this wax is one of the best I've come by, of the 20-30 different waxes I have tried over the years. The ease of use, durability, and of course, the look of this wax is hard to match.

Would they buy this item again? Yes
Been on the fence on this one. Finally decided to order this Wax and no regrets whatsoever. Used this wax to top off BFWD sealant on my car. All I can say is WOW! Applied 2 coats with 12 hours in between. The second seems to deepen the already good DEPTH I'm getting from the 1st coat (Deep and Wet). Easy On and Off. Did 2 panels at a time and No Issues on the removal. Similar in removal compared to P21S 100 Concours Wax. Overall I Highly recommend BlackFire Midnight Sun!

Would they buy this item again? Yes
Great product. Long lasting protection after car has been subjected to the elements. Expensive. May try other pruducts down the road. I do criticize that the product comes in a glass jar which I dropped and shattered not long after I purchased. Costly for me! Had to throw away almost a whole jar because I was not going to take a chance that even the smallest piece of glass was in the wax. You could imagine how that would destroy the car's surface and paint. I'd suggest to the manufacturer that they change to a plastic breakproof container, which would also be lighter and less costly to ship.
