The Porter Cable 7424 has quickly become the standard in the automotive detailing industry for correcting paint imperfections. The PC 7424 will not only save you time and energy, but it will also increase your results. Using a buffer is more effective than hand applications because it is easier to break down polishes, due to even distribution of heat and pressure. With hand applications you rely on your fingertips to exert pressure, which is a very small area compared to a 6.5" foam pad. It is very difficult to consistantly apply the same pressure through an entire coat of polish when applying by hand.

We've also recommended a few polishes to use with your Porter Cable 7424. We suggest using the Menzerna line of polishes for maximum results.
