The Lake Country Hydro Tech Crimson Ultra Fine Finishing Pad can help you take your polishing results to the next level. The Crimson pad is ultra soft and it can be used to help you apply a glaze, sealant or liquid wax. The gentle pad applies a nice even coverage and ensures a thorough coating. This pad is also exceptional for ultra fine polishes (i.e. Menzerna Micro Polish SF 4500 (PO85RD)) because it helps provide increased optical clarity. Many professionals love this pad with a ultra fine polish because it helps them get that last extra bit of "pop" in the paint that separates them form average detailers. The Crimson Pads outstanding results are possible due to a special European foam that has a closed cell or non-reticulated design. It forces the product to stay on the surface and not be readily absorbed in to the pad. You can now get a longer work time and better performance. A must have pad for jeweling soft black paint. Just used this on a black Porsche and had great results. Every other pad left micro marring, but this one did great. I've got several of them now. Works great for applying sealants as well.
I had a customer yesterday that had some big time holograms left by the experts at a local shop. This pad, along with some All in One polish made his black Audi look perfect.
This is a great finishing pad, and I have used it extensively with my Flex 3401VRG with the smaller 5.5" backing plate, and occasionally, with my Meguiars G110V2 on a 4" backing plate. It finishes glazes and fine polishing compounds very nicely, and takes much longer to shred than its brothers, the Cyan and Tangerine boys..
