These pads still cut and finish great; however, Lake Country is not listening any longer to us regarding how quickly these pads start to shred apart. Now I read plenty of PC users complaining about this too, so its not just because I use them on a Rotary.
I wonder who makes those Menzerna pads ???

I usually use these pads with M105 and they allow much longer working time of the product than the normal lake country pads. They also finish down amazingly well, leaving almost no haze.
great cutting ability and almost creates a wax ready surface even with Menz S34A or Menz SIP. Extended working time with this pad. My new heavy cut go to pad, when wool is not necessary.
Using this H2O pad has changed my style of detailing once again, the first time was with the FLEX buffer last month.. The H20 pad isn't really usable with a rotary, who knows why but it just might be the heat generated with a direct drive rotary. Since the FLEX doesn't generate much heat I have found the H2) pads to remove defects very well with just Menzerna Final Finish II, but gets serious with Meguiars 105. Much better than LC's first generation of pads (for the FLEX).

Have used these pads extensively with a Rotary, and while they have incredible correcting and finishing down ability, they do not last long, before they start to SHRED. After this, they can still work somewhat, but they start throwing small pieces of blue foam all over the place, and this in turn, will clog up your microfiber towels and cause even more grief.
I now have a small pile of Shredded Cyan pads that I cannot use again. If the Vendor will ever use a more shred-proof foam, I would be happy to buy these in bulk again.

I usually use the orange light cutting pad with Menzerna SIP and followe with white pad and Menzerna Super Finish. When I saw these Hydro Tech Cyan pads with a claim they would cut better than orange pads and finish down with virtually no haze, I thought it might be too good to be true, but had to try them. I just finished my son's black 1993 Mercedes and I can report it is true. These pads saved me a complete step. I even compared side by side a white pad and Super Finish because I still did not believe the finish would be as glossy. Side by side with white and the extra step I could see no difference in the results. So, I just used the Hydro Tech Cyan with SIP to complete the job and saved so much time. I am a believer and will likely replace my orange with these.
I used the cyan pad in conjunction with Meguiers M105 and the results were stunning. The pad doesnt soak in the product and keeps the product on the surface and allows more work time. Highly recommended!
