Still like the way these pads work, but looks like the shredding problem has still not been addressed by the manufacturer - in fact they dont even acknowledge the problem anymore either. Noticed a lot more PC users having the same shred issue with these pads, so its not just me using them on a Rotary at low speeds..

Used with my Flex Lightweight Rotary and Menz 203. great combo, finished down very well. my new go to pad. also working time is extended.

Used this pad for the first time on a couple of newer Ford SUV's with light swirls, etc., and Meguiars D0151 Reconditioning Cream 1-Step and a Makita 9227C, with Meguiars 34 Detail Spray as the recommended Pad Lube.
Pad worked great, but after the 2nd vehicle, this Pad has started to SHRED just like the Cyan Pads do. I used speeds 2 to 3, and never let the pad run dry on the paint. It does a remarkable job but shreds way too early to be considered for professional use in my Detailing Shop.
Perhaps it would last longer with a Random Orbital ?
Not sure if I can afford to keep going through these pads as quickly as they appear to be going for me, so Im on the fence about buying/using anymore at this time.

The orange pad turned out to very versatile for me. when used with a medium polish it removes some pretty deep scratches and etching. the great news is that it finishes down well for a pad that can remove some serious defects. it really brings a dual action polisher to life as it enhances the rpms of the machine. this pad is a must have in your selection as it serves many situations. this pad truly replaces a handful of your other pads that you used to need.
