I love mine. Others have said these are too "stiff" but after a couple uses they soften up and work like a charm! They hold a lot of suds and have not put any swirls on my car. I keep up with the polishing and always keep good sealant and wax on the car which I believe helps. I plan to try a sheep skin mit down the line to compare.
I bought this mitt because I thought it would be good to clean wheels with, but it isn't. It is far too rigid and cumbersome to get wheels clean with. Not only that, but after about 8 uses (hey, I paid for it!) the stupid thing fell apart at the seams! Avoid this, overpriced and not a very good solution.
I might have been hamfisted using this, but it resulted in a whole lot of swirls on my Infiniti's soft black paint. I used a two bucket system, and changed the buckets frequently.
I think the problem is that the foam is fairly stiff, and you end up applying a substantial amount of pressure and rub the dirt into the paint. I have far better results with sheepskin.
This is for sure the best quality mit I have ever used on my car. I'm very particular on what kind of products I use on my car and there is no doubt in my mind that my cars finish is safe while using this mit. The mit fits very well and doesn't move around like a lot of other mits I've used.
I bought this to replace the sheepskin mitts I had been using. I like it much better. As stated above, it doesn't snag on things and it holds up much better than the sheepskin did.
Love this mit. This is my 3rd one in probably 2 years, so they last a while too. I wash with this mit 1-2 times a week with Optimun No Rise, and I never have to worry about scratches. It doesn't get caught on emblems like the Schmitt does. Nice job LC on this one.
