Excellent product.
I read all of the positive reviews about this product here and across the internet. Seemed a little pricey (not a lot, just a little) for something 'just' for my wheels, but I thought I would give it a try as cleaning wheels is such a pain - in general, and especially with caked on brake dust.

Wow! It worked and is worth every penny (if not more).
Easy to apply; easy to remove and buff.
Cleaning my wheels is so much easier now - even when I have not washed them for weeks. Saves me a lot of time and frustration.

I put on two coats. Seems to last long as it has been on my vehicles for months and shows no sign of not working.

Highly recommended.

I hate to ruin the perfect rating for this sealant........ but unfortunately I am. I wanted to use this product a few times before making a review and after using it 4 times on 3 different cars, Ive made a decision.

I think its important first to understand each persons level. Im not a pro detailer, Im an enthusiast. I keep my G37 and my wifes RAV4 pristine, and I detail my friends cars when I have a free weekend. Im all about maximizing protection and effect, while minimizing steps and time. I used to only use Menzerna polishes, but I fell in love with the Megs 105 combo and I plan on using M105/205 for all my detail jobs and it turned a 3 step process into a 2 step. I wanted a wheel sealant that was quick to apply, quick to remove, and provided good protection. Currently, it takes me just under an hour to do a complete 2 bucket wash, microfiber dry, and put on a QD or spray wax and buff off. Overall, it usually takes me 5-6 hours for my full polish routine on a car, which includes washing, P21s, claying, and a 2 step polish and then adding a sealant (curerntly using "Menzerna" FMJ).

I just did the stock 10-spoke wheels on my G37 for the second time and it took me about an hour to apply and remove the sealant. The stock 10-spoke wheels have a lot of nooks and crannies in them and removing the sealant takes a lot of time. My wifes RAV4 5 spoke wheels were much easier to apply and remove due to less intracacies. The product works and gives good protection, but for me it just takes waaaay too long to apply and remove it. I wanted a sealant to provide protection and to make my wheels look cleaner longer and to shine. It takes me maybe 10 minutes to spray my wheels clean, let it sit, and then brush clean them and they look fantastic so an hour to add sealant to the wheels didnt add up for what I was looking for.

I'll continue to use this for my wifes RAV4, but Ill be looking for something which is much quicker for my G37. If you are a pro or dont mind spending an hour on wheel sealant, then this product works and looks good. It just requires way to much time for my preference.

Keeps Matte Black wheels, well, Matte Black.
My issue was applying a sealant and losing the matte finish (ending up kind of glossy) on my wheels. After not finding any definite answer to my search, I decided to give this a try. Easy to apply and buff out. To me the wheels appear to have more depth while still being matte black. Going to be using on all my current wheels and wheels in the future.

Product works great with little effort in applying and removing. With regular use your wheels will be protected and cleaner than anyones next to you. I have been using Poorboys on my Volk's with outstanding results.

I just cleaned my wheels for the first time after applying this wheel sealant, and I was so impressed I had to come on here and write a review. After four days of hard driving in my mustang cobra I went outside and just cleaned the brake dust off with nothing else but water and a rag. They look just like they did after I cleaned, polished, and sealed them four days ago. I've never cleaned any wheels so easily. It seemed like quite an expensive product before I purchased it, but it turned out to be worth it. Especially with how many coatings I think I can get out of the tub.

I wasn't convinced until I finally caved in and ordered a tub of this stuff. Now I have 4 tubs on my shelf, and I apply two coats every single week-end (as long as I have the time) - my OEM rims look brilliant. Better looking than any car wax or sealant on rims. It does slightly reduce break dust and make cleaning a bit easier, but if you stay on top of your wheels you may not notice a difference. I'm doing this for the shine, and that alone is worth it.

I bought this product based on the many positive reviews. I was not disappointed in the least. Easy application (I used my fingers) and easy to buff out. It's been holding up very well in this Wisconsin winter. Salt, grime and brake dust rinse away easily.

I really like this wheel sealant. It left my wheels very slick and shiny. And what a joy it is to use!! It smells great! After using products that smell very much on the chemical side in a day of detailing, it was refreshing to use a product that smelled so nice.

Poorboy's has provided us with a great finish for winter and summer wheels for over two years running. It always leaves a slick finish, and it's a pleasure to change from season to season knowing the wheels look so good.

Great stuff. Very easy to use. Easy wax on and wax off. I've never used a wheel wax before but I hit a home run with the recommendation by the Detailed Image staff. I have AP Racing breaks and Volk wheels. The dust used to be terrible. With this wheel wax, the dust seems to not stick as badly.

I just got a whole shipment from D.I. (Which I am very impressed with the shipment time D.I. they're no joke fast shipping within a few days). Anyways I got PBW wheel sealant very slick, smooth nice smell to it easy on the skin as well if applied by hand. Highly recommend it. Great to be applied with the D.I. yellow pad use sparingly and thin. If you're wondering to get it or not just get it you will not know until you try it out. You like it stick with it you will not know until you try it.

Yes I would buy this again but here are some things to keep in mind. If you have a ton of spokes this will be a pain to apply. Not because the product is hard to put on/remove but because you have to get the product in all the hard to reach spots. In my opinion I didnt feel that the product made my wheels look any better, but it will 100% make them easier to clean. I have applied this product to all my families cars so I dont have to scrub crusted on break compound off. If you are looking for a product to make your rims look better I dont think this is it, but if you are looking for something to make them easier to clean buy this now. With this product all you need is some water and a mit to remove any dirt.

very easy to put on, i used my hands as my wheels have a lot of spokes. It takes a bit to put on and some elbow grease to get it in the little tiny spots, but it buffs off so easily, and smells awesome. Not to mention the protection you get from it, it repels brake dust like no other!

I have not cleaned my wheels in almost 2 weeks and there is almost NO brake dust/dirt build up on my rims. Simply amazing product and extremely easy product to use. And a little goes a very long way. This is a must have.

absolutely the best for wheels! so easy to apply and remove. you can apply, let sit for an hour, come back and it still wipes right off. great slickness, shine and smell. so much better than Wheel Wax and the protection is good for 6 months in my experience. polish and seal my wheels twice a year with this stuff...it's great! another easy to use, high quality and great smelling product from PBW.

This is a great product to use on wheels and other metal parts such as the exhaust. It goes on/off very easy! The shine left afterwards is still going strong after months of daily driving and washes. It makes cleaning the wheels during a wash much easier because it's still slick! I also have Wheel Wax, but prefer PB's. It's easier to apply and remove, plus it smells so nice like watermelon.....mmmm!

Hands down, this is the best product you can buy for your wheels. I've noticed less brake dust left on my wheels after a drive, and even when there is brake dust, it comes off easily with a simple wipe with a MF towel. Definitely worth it.

good product, easy to apply but it needs some effort to remove after it dried to haze. It gives my Volk wheels a better look, shiny and it also protects my wheels from brake dust. Yes, I will buy this product again.

Worth while investment. Good product. I've used both 'Wheel Wax' and this product. Easier to apply and remove then 'Wheel Wax'. Patience is the key to everything. Very comparable product and can hold its own against other similar products. Go ahead and buy it. You'll definitely like it.

I used the poorboys wheel sealant for the first time.Compared to wheel wax poorboys goes on easier
and removes easier also. I would give a slight edge to
the poorboys on the final results. Slighty more shinny.
Will have to see how long it lasts. Will buy again.

I have never used a wheel wax before. I am glad this was my first try with a wheel wax. It works. For me it was very easy to apply and it came off as easy. The results are unbelievable. Nothing sticks to the wheel. Brake dust wipes off extremely easy. A+ product.

I'll I can say is wow! I've used Wheel wax before and had to really make sure I didn't get interrupted as it is hard to get off if you wait too long. This stuff was way easier to remove and works great. Will be putting a second coat on this weekend and I'm sure that will solve the dreaded BMW brake dust issues. Very good product.

Great wheel sealant, I put it on my wheels to protect them from the Mag Chloride they use on the roads here in CO, its held up great and has my wheels looking like i just bought them.

Got this stuff the other day. I polished my wheels with some mothers mag/aluminum polish and then put on 2 coats of this stuff. The ease of use was phenomenal and it left my wheels super slick.

I ordered the Poorboys Wheel Sealer on the advice of others. While it is easier to remove than Wheel Wax, I woulndn't say that it was easy to remove. After following the instructions and letting dry to a haze, it still required some effort to remove.

My wheels are definately slick though!

I decided to use this product as it was recommended to me over Wheel Wax. All I can really say is WoW!

This stuff is super easy to use. Application is very easy with a foam pad spritzed with a quick detailer. Followed instructions and allowed to dry for a few minutes. Removal with MF towel could not be easier even after coating entire wheel and letting sit...wipes right off! The ease of use is incredible.

I have used Wheel Wax for years with good results, but it was somewhat more difficult to use compared to the Poorboy's. The finish on the wheels is amazingly more slick than the Wheel Wax and I did a side by side comparison.

Wheel Wax is a great product, but the Poorboy's ease of use and slickness has me sold. Not sure of overall protection as I just applied, but sure it is compaable to Wheel Wax. Plus this stuff also smells pretty good if that is a concern.

My new wheel sealant of choice.
