The Flex XFE 15 150 18.0 Set provides you with the power of the popular Flex XFE 15 150, powered by a battery. That's right, no more cord! Utilizing a 15mm throw and the power to tackle any job, this unit removes swirls, scratches, defects, and other imperfections at an incredibly fast rate. The 15mm throw allows you to quickly perfect large flat panels, while not being too large to safely and easily correct those tighter areas around your vehicle. The 18 V batteries power OPMs from 4,600 to 7,600 for 45minutes. The set comes with two batteries, which take 40 minutes to fully charge, so swap out the battery you were using with the charged battery to keep on polishing. The LED battery display lets you know how much juice you have left, allowing you to swap out exactly when needed. Best yet, no more fighting with the cord, getting the cord stuck under your tires, having the cord not be long enough, etc. This unit only weighs 4.62 pounds and the reduced vibration makes it super easy to control. Would they buy this item again? Yes
I purchased this buffer two years ago I liked it but I have to agree with the other review that it does not have the power of a good corded buffer. it's correction abilities will be limited. The real downside is it's in for repair for three months with no signs of it coming back to me anytime soon,no parts. Not much help from flex, indicated it would be expensive, better to buy a new one. That will not be happening.
Update: Parts availability was difficult and it took a long time but they repaired the unit at no cost out of warranty on a very expensive electronic part. Not a buffer for heavy correcting but still quite useful.

I am a professional detailer. I own many machines. This is the weakest of all. It literally has no power. If one wanted a polisher to lay sealant only, then sure this would be ok. But for paint correction, not even close. Trust me. Do not be fooled as I was by the description.
