Meguiar's Ultra Pro Finishing Polish M210 Reviews

Professional Detailer Reviews

At SEMA 2018, Meguiar's launched two new innovative polishing liquids, M110 & M210. These new DA specific advanced polishing liquids utilize SMAT (Super Micro Abrasive Technology) to delivery even and consistent cutting ability over the entire polishing cycle while also producing a low dusting effect. Basically, these abrasives don't breakdown like diminishing abrasives do. These SMAT abrasives stay consistent over a typical buffing cycle. This allows the user to have some control over the length of a polishing cycle without compromising finishing ability.

Take my review with a grain of salt as I actually helped develop this polish (and the M110 that goes with it), but when I need the highest possible gloss OR I am working on hopelessly sensitive or soft paint, M210 is my go-to every single time. This product was benchmarked against the most popular finishing polishes out there with rigorous side-by-side testing using very aggressive panel wipes and lighting to verify true results. Compared to some other popular options in the finishing game, M210 has no real fillers and even a basic water-based panel wipe (Like Eraser or M122) will easily reveal a true finish.

Compared to M205, M210 has a TICK less cut, but is capable of a higher gloss finish. The key is that you need a firmer finishing pad and one pass with moderate pressure before going to machine weight-only for the final pass. I personally use either HDO Orange or Blue for best results.

Other than a bump in price over Meguiars #205, this is another fine finishing polish I keep on hand all the time.

Over the summer of 2020 I found my new favorite finishing polish. I was very happy with it, and still think it's one of the best ever.

Then I tried M210.

Not only does this polish deliver the sickest, sharpest, mirror gloss, it also wipes away cleaner and easier than every polish I've used to date. Now, sometimes on the outside edges of my work area, some build up occurs that I have to run over again with the polisher to remove. I sometimes get that with M205 and Ultimate Polish as well, but the performance and results of this polish make it a relative non issue compared to polishes that just smear and smear wipe after wipe.

I still have to see if it can do a one step with a medium or aggressive pad, but so far so good as a fine cut.

I've used it with both Blue Hex Logic, and Yellow Buff and Shine Uro-Tech - both with beautiful results.

Like I said on the M110 review, it's good to be home again.

Very nice finishing polish!! I haven't yet explored the cutting capabilities of this polish compared to the versatile use of M205 (M210 is rated .5 lower on the Meguiar's cut scale vs M205), but the finish with this is fantastic. Very good follow up to M110 or any of your favorite compounds, and the wipe off is UNREAL. So easy you could blow it off.
