The Meguiar's Ultra Universal Microfiber Pad is designed with versatility in mind, allowing you to target anything from fine to more noticeable imperfections with ease! These pads are packed with a short and dense microfiber pile, featuring a combination of ultra-plush microfiber and a unique foam core. This technology will help you remove swirl marks, oxidation, fine scratches, water spots, or even fine spider webbing while finishing down great. Meguiar's recommends changing up the compound or polish used to aid in your target correction power, giving you the option to use these pads during heavy compounding or fine finishing. Another bonus is these pads are the thin profile that helps keep heat at a minimum. This enable the fibers to mat down at a lower rate which means the pad works better for longer, even after repeated use. This pad doesn't leave a lot of tick marks/hazing on soft black paint where it's more visible.
Fibers definitely do not mat down, allowing you to work the cycle longer or cut a larger panel. Its contours curves well.
Backing plate Velcro is light years ahead of Rupes.
Cut is true rated 9/10 paired with cut max, fast correction creme, but finishes well with hyper polish or therapy.
Love that these come in a 2 pack. 4-6 pads will get the job done on heavy cutting, and just 2 for quick polish or AIO

I do alot ot polishing and correction and microfiber cutting pads are my go too.When I hears that meguiar's are disconnected their pads, I stated to cry...lol.I tried the new universal pads out on alot of paint types and conditions. I was very surprised with the results with the out come.
