The Meguiar's Wheel & Paint Iron Decon D1801 is a cleaner designed to help you easily remove iron deposits. This high-quality formula can be sprayed onto the surface of your wheels or paint and targets iron and fallout deposits. D1801 will cling to the surface and help break down this contamination safely and with minimal effort. For any heavily contaminated areas, we recommend agitating the surface with a clean wash mitt or sponge. After application, you will be left with a cleaner surface than before and ready for you to polish or apply a layer of protection. Be sure to apply on a cool surface and out of the sun. Rinse thoroughly and do not let the product dry on the surface. Directions
DO NOT PRE-RINSE WHEELS OR PAINT. Apply product directly to cool, dry surface in the shade.
PROFESSIONAL TIPS:
FOR WHEELS: For neglected wheels, agitation may be required to fully remove heavy soiling. Apply a second application for severely neglected wheels and agitate.
FOR PAINT: Apply washed and dried surface for maximum effectiveness. May require multiple applicationa for severe iron/fallout contamination. If non-ferrous particles remain, follow with Meguiar's C2000 or C2100 Professional Clay.
- Spray generous amount, covering the entire area being treated.
- Allow product to dwell 2-5 minutes. Do not allow to fully dry on surface.
- Rinse away product residue with strong stream of water.
- Dry area with Meguiar's X2000 Water Magnet Drying Towel.

The best iron decon period.
Absolutely love using Iron Decon for wheels and paint!
Seems to work just as good as the higher priced products. Obviously if the wheels or paint are heavily contaminated, a second application is needed, same experience with the higher priced brands I've tried as well. I can almost buy 2 gallons when on sale, for darn near what 1 gallon of others cost.
