The Rupes SmartFix Double Sided Rotary Foam Pads are engineered to maximize efficiency, balance, and performance when using rotary polishers. Built with a dual-sided foam design, these pads allow you to work longer without interruption by simply flipping the pad to a fresh surface, effectively doubling your usable working area. Each pad is constructed with high quality, open cell foam that promotes consistent airflow and heat management, helping reduce the risk of overheating while improving overall polishing results.The dual sided construction is made possible by the SmartFix interface, which is a design that eliminates the need for traditional backing plates. Just pop the pad in using the center Connector Pin, allowing you to perfectly center the pad upon each use. This system also reduces vibration and the durable internal support structure helps maintain shape and stability during use, even under heavy correction. Combined with their balanced construction and precision manufacturing, these pads deliver smooth operation, control, and consistent results across a wide range of polishing steps.

Love this system!
It allows for super quick changeouts of pads. I love the finishing capabilities of the white pad, and the blue pad offers a pretty decent cut for moderate scratch removal. The size also makes quick work of most panels.
A great workflow for me is to heavy cut with a DA using microfiber or wool, and then refine with the Smartfix system. The overall flow and ease of swapping pads just feels way faster when using a rotary to finish. Highly recommend!
