The Rupes Wash & Decontamination Mitt is an all-in-one solution to help you wash and remove embedded contamination with one wash mitt! Rupes designed this mitt to have two unique sides, one with a plush microfiber material, the other with a synthetic clay material. The plush microfiber material allows you to gently remove dirt, grime, dust, bugs and other contamination that is loosely on the surface. This is generally where our washing process stops and our clay process begins, but with the Wash & Decontamination Mitt you will not need to swap products. Just flip the mitt in your hand to the clay side and start your next detailing step in little to no time. The synthetic clay material will help you remove paint over spray, tar, tree sap, residue from water marks, rail dust, road grime and other extra stubborn surface contaminants with ease. Just dip the mitt in your wash buckets and wash the vehicle before swapping to the clay side of the mitt for the next step, or simply work panel by panel performing both washing and clay steps in one pass. This mitt opens up the cleaning process, allowing you to save a great deal of time and effort. Once finished, you will have a clean and smooth surface that is prepared for paint correction or application of your favorite protection product.

Note: With all clay alternatives, breaking them in might be necessary, especially on sensitive paint types. To break in your pad, towel or mitt, spray your clay lube onto the clay media and on a portion of glass. Rub your pad, towel or mitt in a circular motion against the glass for 30-60 seconds. Wipe your clay media clean and you are set to start using it on your painted surfaces!
