Product Description
The Autofiber Paint Decontamination Clay Mitt will help you remove embedded contamination quicker than a traditional clay bar! Tar, bug smear, brake dust, road grime, etc. can be incredibly difficult to remove but this towel makes it so much easier. The medium grade synthetic rubber polymer pulls embedded debris from the surface leaving it smooth and ready for paint correction. Best yet, the mitt is easy to hold an maneuver across the paint. It should always be used with a clay lubricant or quick detail spray designed to lubricate the surface when using a clay bar or clay bar alternative. Spray the mitt and surface being cleaned with lubricant and gently rub in a crosshatch pattern applying more lubricant as needed. The clay mitt will help you perform the exact process a clay bar gives you, but it will save you time and effort. When finished, thoroughly rinse the mitt with water and air-dry before storing. Your paint will feel super smooth and it will be left ready for any polishing, waxing, sealing, etc. process you have planned. Note: With all clay alternatives, breaking them in might be necessary, especially on sensitive paint types. To break in your pad, towel or mitt, spray your clay lube onto the clay media and on a portion of glass. Rub your pad, towel or mitt in a circular motion against the glass for 30-60 seconds. Wipe your clay media clean and you are set to start using it on your painted surfaces!

Would they buy this item again? No
I have used this a few times. It does not seem to remove contaminants as easily as a clay bar, but it is much faster if the vehicle is not very contaminated. It will leave marring and it has left black marks from too much pressure on the edges of the mitt. I think its a decent product, but I will look at others for my next purchase.
