The Rag Company Ultra Clay Scrubbers 2 pack will help you safely remove embedded contamination from your paint! The advanced rubber polymer technology that we are used to in other clay alternative items is featured on one side of this scrubber, however, Rag Company added a little twist. This area is not just a flat rubber surface, but is perforated with small holes throughout. With this unique construction, you can clay the surface while also scrubbing at the same time. This pad can remove paint overspray, water spots, fresh tree sap, rail dust and other bonded surface contaminants from the surface of automotive paint, glass, moldings and plastic. Just spray your favorite clay lube onto the surface and glide the sponge across the surface. Once finished, your car will feel smooth and free of notable contaminants so you can get better results with polishing or applying a coating, sealant, or wax. Rinse the pad clean and store for multiple uses. A quick and easy way to decontaminate your paint with a clay lube of your choice!
Use a premium microfiber (preferably one from TRC!) to dry off the panel.
Directions
- Wash vehicle to remove loose dirt and debris.
- Spray your favorite clay lubricant on a small section of the vehicle.
- Gently rub Ultra Clay Scrubber over the lubricated area until contaminants are removed and surface is smooth. Wipe off with a premium microfiber. Continue in sections until vehicle is fully decontaminated.
- Follow up with a quick detailer, paint sealant, wax, or polish.
Prior to initial use, rub Ultra Clay Scrubber on glass using clay lubricant. Inspect surface of the Ultra Clay Scrubber before and during use.
To clean, spray surface with clay lubricant and wipe gently with hand. After repeated use, or if too much contamination is present, discard and use a new Ultra Clay Scrubber.

Product works just like any other synthetic. Clay did have an issue with packaging where the clay sponges stuck to the plastic possibly from the heat.
I live next door to a factory and had some paint fallout speckled all over my vehicle paint and windows. Not being abundantly experienced in the world of detailing, I was hesitant to try a clay bar and somewhat doubtful how well the newer clay alternatives would perform.
I decided to try The Rag Company Ultra Clay Scrubbers 2 pack, and I must say that I am extremely happy with the outcome. I used a dedicated clay lubricant keeping the paint and clay scrubber well lubricated. I did the windows first as a breaking in of the new scrubber.
My vehicle is a Honda and I suspect it to be a soft paint, so I went over it lightly and didn't get any marring whatsoever. Very Pleased with the outcome and would purchase it again.

I have their clay towel and it's great. I like these just a smidge better because they're easier to hold. I'd have the clay towel folded in fourths to reduce pressure points, but it was sometimes harder to control and keep folded without applying pressure. I like having one in the wash bucket so I can address some more stubborn contaminants during the wash. The mesh on the back works well and it's also good for removing certain contaminants.
