I was skeptical since I have only used actual clay bars prior to this purchase. Using the clay scrubber is so much easier and faster. Use with your favorite clay lube and have a go.

Product works just like any other synthetic. Clay did have an issue with packaging where the clay sponges stuck to the plastic possibly from the heat.

I live next door to a factory and had some paint fallout speckled all over my vehicle paint and windows. Not being abundantly experienced in the world of detailing, I was hesitant to try a clay bar and somewhat doubtful how well the newer clay alternatives would perform.
I decided to try The Rag Company Ultra Clay Scrubbers 2 pack, and I must say that I am extremely happy with the outcome. I used a dedicated clay lubricant keeping the paint and clay scrubber well lubricated. I did the windows first as a breaking in of the new scrubber.
My vehicle is a Honda and I suspect it to be a soft paint, so I went over it lightly and didn't get any marring whatsoever. Very Pleased with the outcome and would purchase it again.

I have their clay towel and it's great. I like these just a smidge better because they're easier to hold. I'd have the clay towel folded in fourths to reduce pressure points, but it was sometimes harder to control and keep folded without applying pressure. I like having one in the wash bucket so I can address some more stubborn contaminants during the wash. The mesh on the back works well and it's also good for removing certain contaminants.

Was torn on buying this or a perforated clay towel. Well, glad I bought this one. I'm sure a towel would be just as good but I do like the feel of the sponge. It really teaches you know to press too hard.
