This is my second bottle. Mix it strong and it'll strip old warn wax, use it diluted it melts splattered bugs. May want to consider rubber gloves if using strong ratio.

Absolutely! This has become a permanent part of the supply list for us. Works awesome in the foaming gun, part of the wash solution with ONR and in a spray bottle for polish removal/cleanup.

This stuff is surprising. I never really thought twice about what car wash soap to use, I just figured it all did the same job. But I read the reviews on here, and figured I'd give this a shot--hey, maybe it would save me time AND clay bar--after all, time is money! Put aside the cleaning powers of this stuff, the suds this stuff creates is awesome! I live in a part of NJ where we have extremely hard water, so suds are a delicacy almost! So, just by seeing how sudsy this stuff gets made me confident that it has some heavy duty cleaning powers. You have to mix in a decent amount, but the surface after washing feels like a clean canvas. Sometimes I even decided against using clay bar afterwards because there was no difference in surface smoothness on panels with or without the clay bar! Smells great too!

Used this prior to a full detail I planned on doing; I mixed in a cap full of ONR and the combo worked GREAT. Really smooth application and lubricity and it smells pretty good too, and you get a good amount of product for the price.

This is an excellent product for stripping wax, foam guns, and a general use car wash. It has an amazing smell and great lubrication. I use it in its wax-stripping dilution to strip the car of any old wax before claying and polishing.

This is great stuff. For years I had been using whatever off the shelf cleaner that I could find on sale and now that I am stepping into the realm of real detailing work I thought what difference does soap make? Well let me tell you, this stuff makes a world of difference. It is very slick gives a great foamy substance to aid in cleaning. The versatility of being able to use it to strip and also maintain makes it a great two in one wash. I recommend it to anyone wanting to get away from the "off the shelf" parts store cleaners.

This is truly an amazing product. As a Pro Detailer, I need products that give fast, effective results while still being cost-effective. Most products don't meet that criteria, but the CWG definitely does. In a foam cannon, it makes for the most effective and powerful pre-soak and full wash. At the maintenance wash dilution in a foam cannon with the right LSP, you don't even need to touch the car.

TIP: Add an ounce of ONR for the slickest wash you've ever used!

Chemical Guy's Wash and Clear is a great washing product.I use it exclusively before I wax or polish cars as I've found it to be the best at removing crud, old wax, and contaminants off of paint. At weaker dilution ratios it works great as a bit of a stronger wash but doesn't strip off waxes or sealants. Also works great in a foam gun/cannon. Would most def buy again. Also mixes great with a capful of ONR added as lubricity for extra filthy finishes. 5/5.

I ordered CWC after having a hard time removing heavy fillers and silicone from a few cars that came through my shop recently. Not only does CWC clean the paint extremely well (I'm talking squeaky clean!), it also smells great. This shampoo will remain in my arsenal for a long long time.

I used this product for the first time yesterday doing a half-detail. I wanted to strip my layers of past protection and this shampoo did it FLAWLESSLY. Great lubricity, stripped the old stuff off with ease, and it smells pretty good too. Can't beat that! I've also tried Citrus Wash & Gloss, and this product wins hands down vs the Gloss version. It'll have a permanent place in my arsenal.

Great Product. I originally used Meguairs gold class. This product offers just as much if not more cleaning power while allowing you to use half as much product.

This stuff works exactly as advertised. Used this recently to strip existing sealant prior to applying other Chemical Guys products.

Used my Citrus Wash and Clear for the first time a few weekends ago to strip the Werkstat sealant before detailing and it did a great job. The paint seemed to be just as bare as when I had tried Dawn in the past. Have bare paint appears to make claying a faster, more effective process and applying the Prime Strong and Acrylic Jett went great afterwards. Citrus Wash and Clear will be my stand by when doing a mini or full detail down the road.

Works wonders in my Autobite Foam Lance. Use as a pre-foam, and follow up with Zaino shampoo for now, although just a 5 minute foaming with this stuff seems to eliminate all but the caked on dirt and bird droppings.

Cling is great using about an ounce and a half in a 32 ounce bottle for the Lance.

I love this and Citrus wash and gloss, but find this stuff is great PRE polishing or in between polishings as the glossing agents are not present to interfer with the polishing oils. It does a great job if you up the concentration to remove the passive polishing oils so when you apply your LSP you get a solid bond. Now that Detailed Image carries it in gallons I'm a happy camper!

Definitely works great in the foam gun! Better dwelling than other shampoos I've used. I've only used it in weaker dilutions so far, but cleaning is good. I'm looking forward to seeing how it works in higher concentrations for removing surface protectants.

This stuff is one of the many "unicorns" of the Chemical Guys website. It is the perfect pre-detail tool. It does a great job of removing oils and contaminants that a regular shampoo simply would just not remove. VERY fun in a foam cannon.
