The Porter Cable 7424 is extremely safe, easy and effective to use. This buffer is perfect for weekend detailers and professionals alike. The Porter Cable 7424 does an excellent job of delivering smooth and consistent pressure to your vehicle’s paint over the entire 6.5” pad. This helps break down polishes and work them in to the surface for optimal results. Best of all, this buffer will not burn your paint like traditional rotary buffers can. First time users can get professional like results while saving more energy and time than hand applications.

The PC 7424 buffer requires you to screw in the Backing Plate so the pads can easily be swapped on and off. The 6” Counter Weight simply screws on and helps reduce vibration. We have provided you with an outstanding combination of pads in this package to maximize virtually every kind of detailing product. Use the Yellow Cutting Pad to restore neglected paint or spot treat deeper imperfections. The Orange Light Cutting Pad is great for vehicles that have not been recently polished with light to medium imperfections. The White Polishing Pad is perfect for removing very light imperfections and leaving the paint very smooth. Use the Black Finishing Pad to apply a glaze for optimal gloss. Apply your favorite sealant or wax with the Blue Fine Finishing Pad. We have 3 of each kind of pad because we recommend using multiple pads during a detail. Using multiple fresh pads throughout a coat will help you achieve better results and preserve the life of the pad. When you’re all done using the pads simply mix one packet of Snappy Clean pad cleaning solution with water and the pads to clean the pads for future uses. In the recommendations below we have listed polishes from Menzerna and some additional pads and pad cleaners. We highly recommend using a combination of the Menzerna Final Polish II and Intensive Polish or the Menzerna Super Intensive Polish and PO106FF. Both combinations work great with the Porter Cable 7424 and will help remove imperfections and leave the paint extremely glossy.
