A great cutting compound when used with the MF cutting pads. The product works well, has an infinite working time, and is extremely easy to remove. Smells nice too, which is always a plus! Highly recommended for a medium cut compound.
Easy to work and remove.
I was first introduced to this product from Todd Cooperider during a training session.
I could not believe my eyes! It has been almost 8 months since I have used any other type of compounding step. I can't believe there aren't more reviews! This product should be in every detailer's arsenal.

Unreal! I Had a black Infinity G35 the other day and I figured the way to go was with 105 on a LC Hydro Cyan since this thing was swirled something awful. I did the entire hood and said what the hell, I'm going to switch to D300. Never will I stray from the D300 now, with a bit of pressure on speed 5 and a nice pace it completely out did the 105. I was happier too, no dust, easy wipe off. Just don't go above speed 5 and take frequent breaks to dust off/cool or the thing will literally explode off the backing plate, trust me, I peeled the velcro off trying to remove it from the center. If they can make it a bit more durable, if possible, it would be heaven.
Coming from M105 this stuff is great! M105 is finicky and can be hard to wipe off where as D300 is super easy to use and wipe off is not a problem. It also finishes down fantastically and is much cheaper than M105 if you compare prices. D300 allows nearly anyone to achieve a perfect finish via a DA Polisher.
With out a doubt one of the best polishes I have ever used. Cuts very fast with surbuf and da microfiber pads and leaves a finish you literally will not believe. It is also very effective at cutting ceramic clears on Mercedes as well. Cuts as fast or faster as rotary with foamed wool pad. Works on almost every type of finish. It's a game changer. Buy it, you will wonder how you did without out.
I'm always skeptical when a "NEW" product hit the market, after all, aren't there enough already?
I cleaned and clayed the hood of a car and thought now's the time to take this new process for a test drive. After priming the cutting pad per Meguiar's instructions I began performing sectional passes as I usually do. Because curiosity got the best of me I was eager to see just how much correction this new system actually was able to accomplish.....I was pretty surprised!
After 3 sectional passes it we very easy to see that the Microfiber cutting pad combined with the appropriate product worked surprisingly well removing 90% of the defects I was correcting for.
Bottom line was this product when used with the Microfiber cutting pad not only worked it worked extremely well and could possibly change how I approach pint corrections on many vehicles...

Great product! The meguires da microfiber system is really amazing and has changed the way I use my pc. This compound teamed with the microfiber cutting pad leaves a finish that you will not believe with the ability to do some pretty serious correction as well. This would be a great one step compound as it finishes down so crystal clear. I find myself using my pc for correction on just about every vehicle I do now. It's easier than using my rotary and a lot less effort especially on darker finishes. This stuff will even do a great job cleaning up wet sanding marks from 3000 grit and even 2000 grit marks it does a great job. Team this stuff with da microfiber cutting pads and you have a true game changer.
A few weeks back Greg and I were chatting about various articles and he said that they are looking for reviews on the new D300 compound. I said that I still had a lot of M105 left and wanted to use it up before I tried anything new. Skip forward to last week when my gallon arrived and I gave it a huge try.
A 38' multi-colored motorhome, moderately oxidized with 100,000 miles. I predominately use the Flex VRG 3401 and quickly found that the microfiber pads do not work very well with that particular model. I grabbed my Green Lake Country CCS pad and with a light pre-application to the pad, then 2-3 small dots of D300 it so easily removed all the oxidation and polished the gelcoat that there is no way I will ever use anything else. It is perfectly ok to use a yellow or orange LC pad with the Flex as this machine does not generate heat.
In the last week I have handled 2 jet black BMW's and 1 bright red 22' skiboat and a 38' cabin cruiser (white), all easily handled with D300. The BMW's were final polished with Menzerna Micro (PO85RD) as it is troubling to consider that this "compound" is capable of such clarity, but if it were almost any other color you can go straight to your preference of wax.
IMHO this is comparable in aggressiveness to Menzerna Intensive (IP) or SIP (PO83) depending on the paint manufacturer and finishes down to Menzerna Nano (PO106FA) or extremely close to it. Absolutely unbelievable.
I am looking forward to a most profitable year with this dragon slayer!
