Attempted to get some spot defects out of my 2004 Midnight/Oriental Blue, clear-coat BMW paint. Found this product to be mostly useless in getting any kind of medium defects out, using both by hand and DA. This could be because my paint is very hard. Maybe if your car paint is soft, the product will work as intended.

very simple, this product works. the great thing is that it works by hand which is how most of my work is done. perfect for small areas to repair or whole panels to refresh. use this on everything that needs a mild polishing followed by Menzerna Final Polish for a squeaky clean finish with depth, shine and removal of 95% of all blemishes. product is very easy to use and removes very easily with a MF towel. will always have some on hand and is a go to product for mild defect correction. love this stuff and is available OTC everywhere.

excellent product, it really works. you can search forums where results are shown of what it can do. Another product that I would never go without, I have cleaned up several areas that had blemishes/ or minor surface scratches. Sometimes the defect will come up with 1 pass but at times you will need to apply 2-3 times. Keep in mind, the least abrasive is swirlx, mid grade is scratch x 2.0, and ultimate compound is top. So if the defect doesn't come out in 3 passes, then I would go with the ultimate compound by meguairs.
